Needs a good paint correction would look good then
Seriously, I will save you a lot of time. I have a black model y performance and just use autoglyms polar series. So easy and works so well!
Waste of time taking care of a tesla
Mine only last 3 months.
First rule:Buy a car...
Black vechilces should be discounted haha
single coat?
Fussocoat is so easy to apply . I usually do a 6 monthly application in spring/autumn along with an annual decon and light polish. I often get comments how good the paint looks3
"Every time you touch a black car, you scratch it." That is the exact same expression I have as well! I also have a black car.
Hey, just wanted to ask can I apply soft99 wax on headlights? Thanks
How do you put the plastic cover back on? I find they don’t attach to the metal can. Thanks
Great tutorial
even you have perfect metode during washing your car, you absolutely still make a scratch & swirls during the drying without use drying aid metode because water is solid and need some lubricant during the drying process. that is why you absolutely need drying aid
ceramic coat it now and if not just use a good ceramic spray
I use a 0ppm water filter on my dark car, it means no water marks and less drying and as such less scratches
hi, did you encounter hazy problem? after i applied the fusso coat, it looks hazy and some mark on it....
Hazing is usually caused by applying too thick or waiting too long to buff off.
spray qd on it normaly it's would disaspear if u waited too long or thick*
Only problem remaining is owning an EV…
I do exactly what you do but the problem I face is the white calcareous spots after it drys and it looks terrible,I never had this problem on other colour cars.
You'll get that if your water is hard, get some AutoGlym Rapid Ceramic Spray, it will make your car look amazing.
Are you washing the car in the sun?
@Twobarpsi I wash it at around 7pm and it still dry quick or I am just slow. For me it leaves dirt dust on the bottom part. And the other issue I have is that because I do it at night I don't have much light so when I turn on my flashlight I see those dirty spots when tbe car gets wet and dries off. I use a gamoes (you probably don't know what it is) but it absorbs water and when it fully dries it becomes hard. (That's an easy explanation) but yeah at the end of this month I'll buy some specific car wash things for my back car and see if it gets better. I'll probably get a car wax too.. And my car needs a polish it has to many scratches.. 2 slightly big marks that were my own fault.. Sorry for the rant.
Bad quality. Mine stopped working after few years. With little use. I have cared for it all the right ways. Very expensive, happy in the beginning, angry and sad now.
He said spray and wash but ebd up using g a brush..I would call that a failure
This is a great video, thank you Sir. (I also love the accent)
My left ear loved this
😂😂😂 as I bring the phone closer to my ear I saw this comment.
mine hurt all the way
same. i fixed it temporarily, just for this video, by changing the audio from stereo to mono.
It’s hard to gauge just Fusso Coat if you used a spray wax.
Exactly. The hydrophobic properties will be of the spray wax and the solvents in it, would potentially cause the Fusso Coat to deteriorate prematurely. I applied Fusso Coat to my vehicle and 6 months in, it still beads/self cleans as strongly as it did, since day one.
I definitely got the swirls from the automatic wash
Do you have a link for those foam canons?
I use the pressure washer to rinse the car first before the foam process. If I have time I use a good quality blower to dry the car off instead of drying towel and follow the lines of the car.
Don't rinse first because some dirt do require to be dissolved first so it doesn't ruin your paint, always start with the foam as it will losen all the dirt before applying full pressure water on your paint 💯
Are these maxshine mf towels? Don't they lint like crazy?
greetings thank you for share,i do myself use the 99 wax for black colour and happy with the result.Cheers
😅
Use Meguires Ultimate Spray Wax as a drying aid with multiple towels. You can use it everywhere on the car and leaves a thin topper coat of wax to a base coat. This adds great lubrication for the drying process helping prevent scratches as you dry. This was a real game changer for me.
👎. To dry, don't use towels. Spray gyeon wet coat lightly on the surface and pressure washer rinse off. Use a high powered blower (i.e. ego 650) and a mini blower ( Adams mini blower).
So many stuff for my black car? It's a hassle bruh right now I'm only pressure washing it amd it dries quick at the bottom parts. Amd I only have a gamoes right now and when I try to dry it using that it doesn't dry clean it has those dirty water after image thing. I try my best 😢
Sorry if that's hard to understand. My bad lmao
i hate detailing black cars they are so easy to spot every little dust
For 8 month that is actually excellent, I should try this product.
It's not though, he's been using other products as well so you can't say what is down to the Fusso and what has been put on since.
@@gwizz9175 You are right, I miss that point. A topper will extend the life of any sealant, wax or ceramic coating.
U didtnt wait at least 30 days before waxing on freshly painted new car?
is that common knowledge? what's the reason behind it?
Never foam before you pre wash any grit will scratch the paint. That why all car washes do this first 😮
What foam gun do you use? Thanks
Do you still use the grit guard?
Fusso coat has great durability, and very good hydrophobicity/beading. It doesn't have a high gloss finish compared to many other waxes however. But you can layer Fusso coat with soft99 mirror shine wax, which does have a higher gloss. This way you get a durable base layer of wax with the Fusso, which lasts 8-12 months, and a high gloss with the mirror shine (this only lasts 2-3 months though). If you wax your car regularly say once a month with mirror shine, you will keep a decent top layer on constantly.
*Pressure washers, like touch-less car washes, "eat" away at the clear coat of a car.* Regular residential hose water pressure with a "jet," or similar, spray pattern will do the same job. TWO buckets, one for soap and one to rinse the micro-fiber. Pass micro-fiber parallel to the car's lines. Figure eights = swirls. Rinse with a fan spray pattern to remove soap/dirt. Follow it with a mist pattern. The smaller the droplets the easier the drying. Dry parallel to the car's lines. Six black cars and the last two were swirl free after 100k miles.
How do you pre rinse? Do you dry from back to front or top to back and top to front?
*Follow the car's lines when drying.*
Well. What if I just have the nozzle far enough to not "eat" away at the clear coat. I always presoak the car anyways so I dont have to spray it too close. And I always use 4 to 5 microfiber cloth to wash the my car. Depends on how dirty the car is. But I never rinse and reuse the same cloth after hitting the nastiest areas. I always use a fresh one. This works best for me. No swirling at all.
@@edy6722 *Seems like you have the non-scratch technique down.* But pressure washer jet is too much PSI for keeping the clear last long. Even car wash sprayers will wear away clear coats - especially if the paint is not OEM. Typical garden sprayers have a non-destructive PSI level.
Too bad the used car I bought ..the previous owner..did a horrible job washing the car....and he loved driving on the freeway with many rock strikes.
You can use Soft99 speed and barrier or King of Gloss as a topper every 6 months
Great video and beautiful car. Have you ever heard of "The Rag Company" , as far as towels, drying supplies and pretty much detail supplies as well.Specifically for micro fiber towels. Cheers.
It’s best to have a specific wheel device cleaner this way your able to get deeper into the wheel. And take a leave- blower to dry your car; I do it works perfectly.
yep great reminder of how to do it properly. Interesting alternative to two bucket removing the need to rinse by using a fresh mitt for each panel. Only improver would be hot air drier rather than a towel to complete the process with minimal touch
Nice job!
The final product looks amazing! Well done.
Thanks for sharing, strictly speaking, this isn't a wax.
Seven passes? That's ridiculous. That will cost you a fortune in fallout remover/wheel cleaner. Just use wheel acid, you will save yourself lots of time, effort and money
This is what I don’t understand when watching these detail videos. The amount of product “and granted it is needed in some cases” they use must cost a fortune in supplies. Example wheel cleaner. You’d be lucky to get 4 car washes out of a bottle. So what is the overall cost of a diy wash after you factor in the cost of product?
What would you recommend? Have used Dragons Breath before (which looks to be pretty much the same as in this video), and need something stronger. Thank you so much
U should apply fusso speed an barrier coat every time you wash keeps wax doing wat it should 👍
Are you using setting 2 med pressure when washing the car or high?
Best to wear gloves .
