Supernatural 5x21 - Dean meets Death

I do not own the rights to this video.
I just noticed that he lied to deaths face. He had no intention to let Sam jump into the pit. I think Death really had a soft spot for Dean because I have a feeling he's smart enough and old enough to see through Deans lie.
Dean I really like you
The pizza saved my city thank the lord 😂😂
"This is way above my paygrade" "Just a little" Dean help jack becomes god. Death knows.
Anyone else think his concept of lil spell is different from ours 😂😂😂😂
I love the man they chose for death . Absalutely perfect .
How can death be older than a god that created life? That makes no sense 😂
god is alive
God does not exist. Dearh does.
You have an inflated sense of your importance. I love that line.
deep dish pizza saved Chicago 😂
death liked Dean lol
shouldn't death be stronger then archangels , leviathan , eve. basically everything but God and darkness ?
The strongest final fate of all, even them, was telling the writers to cope out bull BS to kill him off for Billy.
Passage to heaven for live resin hybrid 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣
Cool scene, but question... Why did death kill everyone in the restaurant?
It’s the “you know you can’t cheat death” bit at the end that does it for me.
it's exactly how I feel whenever a human being tells me about what's "out there". As if anyone on this planet had ever set foot outside of this solar system, let alone galaxy or universe. Humanity's overinflated sense of self righteous importance ahs always and will forever baffle me.
“Time is never time at all”
So Amara and Death are the only people that is old as Chuck
Soldier Boy and his father
Imagine you're Death. An entity of death and endings. If God creates, then Death kills and transforms. A version of the Darkness (Amara) but simply not as genocidal. He's been peacefully conducting this work through his many Reapers across space and time - until one day a bratty archangel with daddy issues enacts a ritual and imprisons a shackle around his neck, essentially making him a slave. It's not even correct to call Death a Horseman. He's so much more. Like the guy who cleans up after the other Three Horsemen are done causing their chaos. But he's not interested. He already has his hands full - until this cocksure guttersnipe of a seraphim decides he wants to accelerate the Armageddon.
"Think how you'd feel if a bacterium sat at your table and started getting snarky" LMAO!
This what the only person dean feared
Good explosion to know both worlds lol Super Natural will be perfect in my side for end world lol
WHY OPEN BLACK IS
childish, silliness.
I always like it when death is portrayed as more of an aspect of reality than as something that stalks you. My grandmother always hated seeing the grim reapers that pop up as decorations around halloween. I never understood why. Its not death that killed you, its actually quite nice of death to show up and guide you along the way right after you pass. Imagine how much worse it would be if you die and you're just alone. Death might be scary but evil he is not. I just wonder if hes a good conversationalist, would be a nice little interaction in the time it takes to get from A to B after it happens.
at 2:00 anyone notice when he says "Oh yes, god will die too". Then there's that flash of lightning on deaths face. Is it just me, or does the lightning flash on his face look similar to the skull grim reaper.
Weird how a primordial being like that can be trapped, bound, or even killed.
Man, this bring old memories. When I watched, I am suprised the badass Dean looked scared when he met Death.
When and if I die, big if, but if it ever does happen and the reaper/personification of death isn't this guy I'm definitely asking for a refund
Death is an entity... the bodies, just a requirement to do it's job..... like all tools they come and go.
“You have an inflated sense of your importance” he says after killing a guy for bumping into him in his opening scene
That guy died exactly as he was meant to. "Unexplained" deaths occur every once in awhile.
I'd love to see like the actors react to this scene
He never blinked
I love death's aura of superiority. Of nonchalantness of his work. What a Smooth Operator
Looks like Death was teaching Dean a lesson he hasn't yet comprehend
Truly terrifying with the “you know you can’t cheat death”
This is one of my favorite personifications of Death. Neither good nor evil. Neither vengeful nor just. He's simply a force of nature. Inevitable. I don't even believe in any of that, but this was a fantastic depiction and Julian Ritchings friggin' nailed it.
This kinda reminds me of Death in Discworld
The only character Dean fears😮
he likes Chicago because of the pizza style we have. Death loves Chicago Style Pizza. Eat that New York.
Can't Soldier Boy kick the Shxt out of the reaper himself?
Dean saves chicago
This is by far one of the best scenes in all of TV and cinema. The acting, dialogue pacing was marvellously captured during this exchange between them.
Almost all the angels, demons, gods etc. that showed up on Supernatural came across as being like us humans, with all our flaws, only writ larger. Julian Richings as Death was IMHO the only one who conveyed the sense of truly being an entity of a higher order, beyond our ability to comprehend or even relate to. Death might wear a human face to talk to us, but we can't really imagine what's behind it.
By this point in the show, the brothers had tangled with various “earthly” creatures (ghosts and poltergeists, vampires, a freaking Wendigo and many others) then various demons, angels, miscellaneous “pagan gods, even Lucifer himself, but this was the first time we saw Dean F***king Winchester nearly cowering before anything. This portrayal of Death was incredible, and still is incredible.
This is madness
Remember when they recast death into an absolute joke
Yup. One of the many problems the new writers of the show had when they took over.
So did anyone else get that Death was confirming the existance of aliens?
It's obvious there are other forms of life out there. The very notion, that out of ALL space, it's just us, no bacteria, no animals, no anything on any other planet is laughably stupid. Honestly I would bet there are planets out there where dinosaurs are still around. If they can spawn on our planet, they could be on others. Just cause most of them got wiped out from our planet doesn't mean they were destroyed on other planets.
It’s funny how sometimes u get an actor who isn’t really well heard off who plays a role and it’s just perfect. Give the casting crew some real credit there! It’s as if the part was made for him… it reminds me of doom head in that rob zombie movie… relatively unheard of actor plays a character and nails it 100%
If death finds him so insignificant then why bother talking or dealing with him at all. All he has to do is think him gone and he will cease to exist. This story sucks.
You didn't pay attention. He wanted Death to deal with Lucifer. Death is a NEUTRAL force, he doesn't care about anything other then the universe being in balance, Dean was the pawn that was needed to create balance.
@@ItApproaches Yeah, Death is a neutral force. He even admitted he would outlive god. All death needed to do was wait it out.
He also told Dean that he’s bound to Lucifer, therefore, he cannot act against him. Otherwise, I’m sure Death would have shredded Lucifer down to the last atom.
