OMG. Two struts with labor in the US would probably be $1,000.
I just subscribed to your channel looking at maybe coming there when retiring in about 5 years thank you so much for the information
God bless you for subscribing 👍 🙏
Sounds like they slapped new pads on, was that price for the fronts and back? They should of replaced the rotors and serviced your caliappers and parking brakes and test drove your car to propper wear in the brake pads,. It doesn’t sound like it as you mention the time it took for the job. I also wonder what brand of pads they installed, I know retired and living in the Philippines there are plenty of fake Chinese parts there. I took my Honda CRV to the Honda dealership in Santa Rosa, lets say it reminded me i was back in Canada. You had to make an appointment, they did half of their check list , they over charged and they stole most of my loose change i had in the car.
Are you buying a garage?
Yes Of course isn't everyone.
Good video. I like seeing them with costs. Western countries have to much overhead Building, insurance, taxes, heating or cooling. Millions in the latest tools.
In the states all that may take 2 hours , cost three times as much depending on where u go done by one person they dont help one another
keep your pigpen clean daily,
Why would a struggling Filipino Have 14 Dogs?, Does the foreigner contribute some financial help and food, I am a Pet lover, I love Dogs..😢 🙏.
Did you not watch all of the video?
Filipina was simply referring to all the greenery absorbing and filtering... not one specific plant. Plants in general filter the air toxins
😍😍😍😍😍
It was so nice hearing Steven's Story and your connection together
What is that plant that filters from this swine flu
I don't get why so many dogs?
Security Reasons
@@TheCostOfLiving- Way way to many dogs running all over barangy and the beaches no controll of the dogs. Security is one of the last things. These dogs hurt more inocennt people than they help.
You’re most welcome!
Don’t let people discourage you, I like your contents. Keep at it and good luck. Cheers!
Thank you so much for the positive encouraging comment 🌻

What here answer to your question about being with her daughter?
That karioki is enough to drive you crazy.
Lies! That house is more than 400 pesos a month. And you left out how expensive it is in the Philippines. People are leaving for Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam. Everything is a hassle in the Philippines. You need the patience of a saint to even eat out there. These videos are so misleading.
Sorry to bust your negative bubble but it's absolutely true

Mostly easy listening 70s- style music you hear, here.
I never considered YT as a revenue source. The YT lotto will keep you jumping up down and side ways. Algorithms and rules always changing. I thought folks came to escape all that carrot chasing. I use YT as a hobby, to play with new technologies (AI, capcut etc.), for family and friends to see my travels, and as a FREE hosting site. YT sent me an invitation to join, I deleted it. I don't need a master. Thanks for the video. Nice to see an honest one on YT for once.
If I watch the whole video at a faster speed, are you credited with a complete view?
Great question, I'm not sure but my guess would be yes
Your channel is the best but your channel growth is very low. So it is very important to grow your channel. I can help if you want

Hey guys... Loved the video, your friend is beautiful as is her house. Im planning on relocating to the Philippines in just a few weeks and would love the opportunity to get to know her. Im a decorator by trade and id be happy to make this house into her dream home! 1st job though, politeley ask the neighbours to have a bit of respect. I always liked this about the provinces, the playing of classic 80's hits in the background , but this was ridicuous, i could feel the walls shaking from back here in the UK. :) Be amazing if you could introduce me!

The message I got from this video is: Steer clear of dating single moms, it's a financial drain.
No matter where the woman is from, she always makes plans with your money. Why buy when you can rent.

oh yeah and since halloween is approaching, talk about the mystical creatures of the philippines. i know some but others my wife refuse to talk about so i am curious

i would like to hear your views about what get foreigners blacklisted
Just go piss on the president Palace and you shall be blacklisted, did I answer your question ?😂
will you maybe do a video about what is going on with boats in the south philippine sea or is that taboo to mention
how many views did the world zoom video get?
2k
seems alot harder than is told. then you are right. it is seen why some youtubers get in a certain “genre” to make it and some not of a good genre
I'm from the Philippines -- the 7$ rent is a lie. You cant even get that amount unless you are a squatter and just paying for the illegal electricity connection. And I didnt really watch the video so I dont really know what the context is
It's too bad you didn't watch the video because it's actually TRUE... it's only actually less than $7 it was $5 and something per month and it's absolutely true you should watch the video.
And you can see the full interview with the home owner who talks about it and how it is possible on our other channel call filipina and the foreigner.

Some very poor mother's are being given homes in Tacloban city. They pay about 500 pesos a month for twenty five years. Then they get full ownership. I know a woman who got one of these houses.

A local Filipino can't afford most of the expenses in the Philippines, foreigners can afford it of course. Your budget don't make sense, compared to a local Filipino income.

@P5000 monthly allowance a month for a kid, that's a lot of money. Hope he does not acquire bad habits & grow up a spoiled brat.
He's in later high-school, not alot of money
You are a gr8t couple of gr8t values!
Thank you for your kind words 🙏
My wife is the same way! I love her to death, best thing I could have ever done, marrying a Filipina woman.
Amen 🌟
I don't like the neighbourhood! Too noisy! But I just love that little house. If your girl has something like that it wouldn't take too much money to renovate the house entirely: westernise the bathroom, modernise the kitchen, put in a ceiling, screens in the windows, split aircon, paint the walls, ... Gosh I would certainly beautify this house!
Maybe miscellaneous/groceries for 15k. You’re budget could be around 70k that include everything.
I watch a lot of the videos. Sometimes it seems like she controlees the Purse strings.
I hope so, because I don't like carrying her purse 😁
This is a case of "forced" relocation by the government. For most working class Filipinos, especially those working in companies - there is HDMF ( Housing Development Mutual Fund ) better known as the "Pag-ibig Fund" where the government can purchase a house and lot for you ( maximum 1,000sqm ) payable in 25 to 30 years at very low interest. There are some cases where, for one reason or another one hasn't been able to keep up with payments over a number of years, the government simply writes off the debt. Being an Asian country we are capitalist ala socialist. The government is not a private bank or corporate enterprise and it is not in its interest to render say an elderly couple homeless on an unpaid mortgage. Agencies such as the SSS, DSWD or local officials may step in to resolve a debt to the state on their behalf.
Where would you apply? Barangay, L something, or what?😮
As Mentioned in the video it's not something you can apply for.
Me and my wife just retired couple years ago. We don’t own any mortgage any more and due to high cost of living in California our monthly expenses is somewhere around $2700 a month. We would love to retire in the Philippines but our children are aware of our health issues but we get to visit the Philippines each year. We spent 4 months there a year ago.
Thanks for the video, my monthly budget is $1500 and I live in Tunasan, Muntinlupa City by south of Manila plus don't rely living pension to pension, you need extra savings and emergency funds. I'm very happy enough not paying any mortgage or rent. I know 5 farangs living there and all military veterans.
