Yummy 😋 extremely rare Mountain Dew flavor. idk if it from 1989. Ive heard this flavor was made 1988-1991 but I’m not sure. MOJNTIAN DUE
Incredible build. Thank you so much for sharing your build. It is very inspirational. 🎉🎉😊
What was your total cost for your van, etc
Are you available too give estimate on others vans too convert them
great video, very good ideas, good workmanship, bloody annoying music
BRILLIANT placing the diesel heater tank with opening at back and building all the plumbing/elec on the one side with good access. I have an Ody and couldnt figure out best design and this is perfect. Thank you Kurt Cobain JR
This is insane in a good way
I like the idea of just using a bowl for the sink. No need for a greywater tank in a van this small, just dump the bowl out the window!
What is this wizardry?
I really like this. Wonder what the total cost was
Very nicely done, Oregon man.
You could make this your livelihood.
Wow, in addition to the 2k, you must have had to give your ass on the street a few times.
Wow! Cool!
So cozy. So cute! Perfect for long drives and excursions. My 6 year old would love it!
Very nice wood work. Looks like a cozy camper.
can i get a list of items bought for this build?
Thanks for sharing. While I liked the build in general, I liked some specifics too. One is that your use of recycled pallet wood. Two is your using smaller pieces of wood to make the sides (I assume out of the pallet wood). Three is the use of a butane cooker, which I thought is better than the bulky propane tanks, especially when you have a tight space and want to avoid propane line leaks (or needing a CO detector, though it might be good to have one anyway). Four is the use of a manual pump sink to save electricity. I am curious if you are going to put solar panels on the roof and a solar system inside. I am also curious if using all those wood pieces may have made the van heavier and affect the mileage (I do not know if this can be avoided but I noticed a few videos where people tried, it might affect the cost of building to do it their way). Great build!
You forgot a toilet for emergencys 🤔
Very Nicely Done! The Minivan has understandably become extremely popular for camper or liveaboard conversions. The lightest, most inexpensive, fastest and hugely practical fit out is the 'No Build, Build!' in which the owner uses plastic drawer towers, plastic storage boxes with lids, a camp bed, etc, to finish up with a well laid out camper in which everything can be altered, improved, removed or replaced as experience and usage dictates, without any permenant fixing to the vehicle structure. The Cheap RV Living You Tube channel has several videos of such conversions, all of which were carried out by owners without experience or available funds. This may be helpful for those on a no budget, budget or without the skills, workspace or time to carry out a conventional build. I hope this helps.
What is the weight difference between the seats removes and all that wood added? Looks good but I assume it will spike the mpg very low.
5:50 ceiling lights
Why didn't you insulate?.😮
Everything except a toilet
Yo Bro. Great job!!! Quick question. Is it possible to do sliding doors insteat of open doors on that built?
Dude youre EPIC!!!!!😊
Wow!! Amazing build! You are really talented! Enjoy! 🌞🚙🏞️
Hunter you are incredible!!!! Well thought out! Love the outdoor kitchen vibes.
Wheres the toilet?
😮 as a 60-year-old woman I find it so interesting that there are some young children who are worthless while only about 15% of them are priceless! You know you probably would have had a million views per month if you would have used your face with that cute baseball cap in your thumbnail.😊 the part at the end of your video where you flopped down on your 10 inch thick mattress with the big smile on your face was definitely worth replaying 10 times to see the look of satisfaction on a very determined hard-working young man's face ! I'm sure your parents siblings and grandparents are so proud of your determination and accomplishment.
Looks amazing
Great build, looks amazing
Absolutely amazing! Well done young man! I hope you get plenty of enjoyment from it. You deserve it!
0:25 Be careful mounting diesel heaters like that. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to contain the exhaust in a 5" furnace takeoff to insulate it because it gets so hot.
How heavy is your car and whats your millage per gallon
I want to do so:thing similar but I wonder why didn’t you add insulation?
Nice!! My friend did the same thing to his van. They used the ‘no-built’ kit and was up and traveling in less than 19 hours.❤❤❤❤
Remarkable
Nice work but as a person who also builds and lives in various vehicles, I’ll never understand the choice of a tiny bowl sink. Completely useless and takes the same space as a realistic size. All the space lost around this sink could be actual sink. You’re a good carpenter though and like a clean finish!
I’m just worried on the weight of all that
I guess maybe it’s offset by removing the seats?
Really nice work! Two related things crossed my mind: the weight of so much wood, and the balance of that weight. Neither issue probably interferes with your enjoyment of this well-appointed van, though they likely increase the cost of driving it.
Maybe the weight is offset by removing the seats?
WOW ♥️♥️♥️
Impressive!! Great job! ❤
Really good I’ll base my Nissan quests build in this
Well the wood might have cost less than 2k but no poor person could have done this. Why? You needed a huge garage, power tools, accommodation and food, alternative transport, petrol, electricity, just to name a few things. The true cost is much more than 2k.
Good point. Yeah, his video is super disingenuous. Especially the part where he wrote "any poor person could have done this." His plug-in Ryobi jigsaw and two drills are what puts this over the edge from 2K to 2200. A town and country costs $1500 (I am splurging in this made up work because I picked a 2004 and not a 1998 like he has). I am curious where you live. Because I bet he has a place to live independent of if he is working on a van or not. Similarly, your contention about food makes it seem as though he wasn't eating before and only started eating while building. A lot of the costs you listed were going to happen anyways and should be considered fixed costs, not variable costs. There was only minimal time where he wouldn't have been able to drive it, but as long as he had a driver seat, no alternative transport was required. Also, depending on your time horizon, the true cost may be less if he lives in the van, then he no longer pays for accommodation and quickly recoups the initial investment. He could have bought the tools used and sold them when done. Point is, it is easy to make up "what if scenarios" to discredit other people. It is super easy to find holes in what you said. What is difficult is actually doing something. In the words of some old dude who you have probable never heard of, "it is not the critic who counts." And all you've managed to do is critique.
Well done, great, budget friendly build. I really liked the whitewashed ceiling and cabinets.❤
1st seeing ur channel, great build. Pls b safe with cooking, heating, and cooling off; carbon monoxide poisoning is real. Best Wishes on ur journey.
Amazing work. Nice, clean design. Love the way you worked the wood around all those irregular shapes. 👍
slick job
