The Timeless Brilliance of Gordon Lightfoot: An Unforgettable Legacy
Their third album was Third Stage, not Walk On. This video doesn't even mention Third Stage unless I missed it somewhere.
There doesn't have to be a culprit, only a set of circumstances. Sholtz wrote and recorded almost all of it, and he got wealthy, and the others didn't. Delp and the rest were hired hands, though Delp had the strange dilemma of being the voice of it all. He probably could have negotiated a piece of the writers' royalty just for applying his voice, but Sholtz would have searched for someone else, and we'd never know Brad Delp.
You totally missed their third album, Third Stage in 1986. Idiots
Who is Schultz? Its Scholz like the shoe. Such poor reporting.
Funny how a 3 second clip of Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) was hidden in this clip. Poor research on the video end.
Green day👎👎
John Lennon also remarked that John Farnham’s rendition of Help! was the way he wanted it to be sung but record producers only wanted the bippity-bop version
All nonsense. He was a hugely integral part of the Motley sound.
Mick Mars is a teuly talented musician the other guys are just party boys who are in it for the chicks and money.
Delisa Davis was not a member of Klymaxx. She was Jody Watley's replacement in Shalamar.
yeah he was Hurt by a Nine Inch Nail 😁
You can't spell Neil's name properly or even say it right.
I thought we would have ever heard of motley if it wasn't for Mick. Just my opinion
So she was the 1st Adele
No one ever will replace Gary, so glad I was around to appreciate his music and talent especially when you see what the music industry has become 😢
I love this song and Dan Folgelberg's music. Another one that gets to me is "Late for the Sky," by Jackson Browne. "Well the words had all been spoken, and somehow the feeling still wasn't right..." My generation, by FAR, had the best music!
Just over, and desapear!!!😢
He is my favorite member of Motley, the others were posers
Mick motherfuking Mars is badass an awesome I don't care what anybody says!!
Who is "Neil Pert"???
Is the guy speaking the same guy from Audit the Audit? Sounds just like him.
That's because green day sucks and it's not punk
Brad was from another planet, and he suffered from depression. Stop with the dark secret stuff RIP
Hurt became Cash's. Not on purpose. Even though it was Trent's moment at that time when he wrote it and the darkness behind it. Cash's life was going. His career was set in stone. This song became his goodbye song. His swan song. Basically saying don't make the same mistakes I did. Learn from my mistakes. Make them your own. When he passed away, the song became a spiritual song for Cash. Now that song is a door opening for people who never heard of Cash, hey come in and listen to me. From the Folsom Prison Blues, I Walk The Line, Big River, and so many others. These songs are for you.
I love the song I m missing you.I think is so fantastic for me, it is so passionate❤❤!
The man in blacks of course..i played this on my acoustic for a friend..we both lost several band members over time..its a masterpiece..Thank you Trent And Johnny..☺️🙏
"Russia"? C'mon my guy.
His guitar is top notch and a huge contributing factor of the bands success. Don't think anyone would argue with that.
I started listening to Rush in 1974. Fly by Night started me going down the rabbit hole I’m 64 years old and I’m still a fan. Got to meet Geddy and Alex once they were so nice and down to earth. They made me a better guitarist and bassist
AI BS
Most talented guy in the band. His playing has influenced everyone
His solos were never too long or self-indulgent. He was never flashy and never showed off his talent. He is a great rhythm guitarist with just enough lead for their songs. If it wasn't for Mick I don't think motley would have made it
The only one of that band members who is not trash is mick
They are nothing without Mick. End of story
Motley Crue wouldn't be if there was no Mick Mars. He is Motley Crue. His lifestyle made them famous.
Mick is the heart and soul of the band.
I cant stand this band of problems... but.... Mick was this band. Bassist cant play, singer no longer can even come close to singing... Tommy, great drummer.... Mick made this band, his brothers dummped him for his supposed medical problems... Mick never killed anyone drunk driving or destroyed an amazing band Hanoi rocks. so much wealth but so little talent or morality
Mick, has always been my favorite!
My Favorite Funk Band Of All Time ✊🏾👊🏾✊🏾
As a massive fan here in England 🇬🇧 I honestly think tha Walk On is the best album. The songs and instrumentals are strong and so powerful it blew me away. Not having Brad behind the Mike was obviously an issue but Fron Cosmo is superb in his own right and for me he smashed it. Six albums and a greatest hits doesn't seem much for 50 years but a fabulous band all the same
If Trent was honest he was a little jealous.
“One of the most iconic”… mate they are C Tier lets be honest
Bob Deal, a red-headed guitar teacher, wore a wig the entire time, so he could shade and fade when necessary
I see you #FemmeMafia (Joyce Irby’s current band name) I absolutely love what Klymaxx brought to music and the impact they had, and continue to have, on women in the industry. I will forever support my favorite female band. #JoyceIrby 💜 is truly one of a kind. Talent just oozes out of her. Lynn Malsby is quite a songwriter as well as Bernadette Cooper. This short video also featured a photo I’ve never seen before, from the 1981 photoshoot 🔥.
Steve Perry is Journey!!
Pert is shampoo...it's Peer-t...c'mon man.
Somebody in that band had to focus on what they where playing rather than excess’s the others seemed more focused on
I feel so bad for Tom because he went through so much for his band and is still so criminally underrated 😓
Team Mick!
