Переглядів 17010 років тому
As I understand there were only two (2) year books published during the thirty three years Buena Vista served as a High School here in Tippah County, MS, t949, the one presented here and another one in 1953. We are all in indebted to Mrs. Jean Dees Holley, who was a 1948 graduate of Buena Vista High School, for passing this yearbook on to be digitized. I understand that she also taught at Buena...

Rod was born at Smithville, Mississippi and he was buried there as well. I visited his grave years ago. He died while visiting Martin, Tn promoting the Andy Griffith movie (A face in the crowd). He performed in that movie. ❤

What's ironic is that Jimmie Rodgers died 2 years before Elvis was born. Jimmie Rodgers helped influence people like Elvis, George Harrison, Johnny Cash, and more.

I was a few weeks short of 4 years old, and from what I was told later I demanded to go with my mother to the funeral. We stood outside the auditorium in the vestibule. My first, clear memory of any event: The cops cleared a space right in front of us to carry out the women who had fainted in the auditorium, laid them on the marble floor and revived them with smelling salts. Sex, death and resurrection. It made quite an impression on a young boy. Many years later I chatted up Hovie Lister when he was a doorman at the Georgia State Senate and he told me everybody singing on stage was drunk.

This museum is a must-see for just about any lover of guitars and old-time country music. The chance to see Jimmie's Martin guitar alone is DEFINITELY worth the trip, but seeing his other personal effects is very interesting. R. I. P. Jimmie Rodgers "The Singing Brakeman"

Fitst of all this is BS... They are bones underground. This is not static electricity. The rods cross on a male and open put on a female. The reason is because our earth is a big magnet. The male has XY chromosomes and a female has x ... A female lacks iron in body ect..male and female have different mineral in body. You can tell how long a person is and as wide when crossing a grave . But you cant say or tell how old a person is. It might be a old dwarf under there. So this is why I say BS. The only way to know for sure what is underground is to dig it up.Fact!
