After I upload a cover video to a YT Channel and the content ID mechanism recognizes the copyright holder and I am allowed to post it without any specific regional blocks or things like it, is there still a risk of a copyright strike? How do you mitigate that? thank you

thanks for the helpful video! I have a question about distributing cover songs through DistroKid and uploading them to UA-cam. If I distribute my cover song via DistroKid to streaming platforms, including UA-cam Music, will UA-cam automatically recognize me as the owner when I upload a video of that same cover song to my UA-cam channel? I’m worried about potential Content ID claims. How do I make sure UA-cam knows I’m the one who distributed the song through DistroKid? Any advice would be great, thanks!

This turned out fantastic. Too many of these type videos get so bogged down in the hyper-specifics of compression, reverb, etc. and lose structure, melody, and arrangement as a result, which this didn't.

I don’t think the end result really sounds like Radiohead. What makes them a great band is that every song is a well-honed idea, agonised over months and years until it is crystallised and perfect. The idea of this song is that it’s an at attempt to copy their ‘sound’ but it has, as far as I can tell, no emotional depth and does not communicate anything at all. That’s why we like Radiohead, because their songs are speaking to us. Do you know what I mean?
