Testing the method of cpu socket pin planting !
Best solution.. thank man..👍
Thank you! Hope I helped!🥰
I think that silicone mass around the NAND chip has prevented corrosion to penetrate underneath the chip, which would make things way more complicated.
Of course! I totally agree! This material literally saved the nand...and my time!!
Super Duper!
Thank you!🥰
Excellent video with explanation.👍🏽
Thank you so much 🥰
But there was clearly a bridge on the bottom left pins of the mosfet, was it supposed to be there?
You are right! There it is the 1 and 2 pin which are connected to ppbus_g3h both.
Great! Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Every step by step. Excellent!
Thank you very much!🥰
Great and quick BGA work, but i knew from the get-go that reballing affected chips will solve the issue. Tell me please, do you keep your solder paste in the fridge, or is there any special treatment for it, in a way how you stash it or use it?
Thank you so much! Yes the soldering paste should be kept I the fridge. It will last longer. But there are ways to refresh it.
@@AnyrepairENG Thanks for replying. You mean refreshing by adding some flux paste to it? Something else?
Yes flux makes it good again.
I have this card, I purchased it used. It has always had some issues but it seems to be getting worse over the couple of years I've had it. The main symptom is that it blanks out the video, the fans turn to 100% and then the system continues doing things in the background a bit then eventually freezes. Same problem on both Linux and Windows. And it even happens when the card has near zero load, though it seems more likley to happen when the card is heavily loaded. But not always! sometimes I get 24 hours of 100% usage rendering complicated multi model work flows. Unfortunately I have no money but i need to fix this.. Any thoughts as to what this may be?
Check out if the is a thermal issue first. After that you must check for vram issues or gpu issues...but these require electronic skills and equipment.
We miss you!
You are right! I miss you too! I will get back to you very very soon with interesting videos!
can you shere schematic or say where get one?
Iqm getting the schematics from vinafix.
brother I have a 2020 pro , NO picture / sound just black screen.. Apple Configurator only detects it in recovery and dfu , i tried to restore and revive but always fails error 56 stockholm ?
Have you check for voltages and ampere consumption?
Nice!! I think I am solving the problem much cheaper and easier than replacing the motherboard.
Yes it is cost effective that way!!😎
Very professional like sorin electronic-Northridge fix thumbs up👍👍👍
Thank you so much!🥰🥰
When you change PCH,you should clean ME region. Nice job !
Yes it is the best practice, thank you very much!
Good job. Much harder than u make it look
Yes it is much harder...thank you very much!
I followed your video and was able to fix my S340 !! It wasn't the buck converter but a simple passive part connect to the buck converter !
Wow, very glad I helped!🥰
Very nice video ... Congrats for repair!
Thank you so much!
I was playing a game with the charger plugged in when all of a sudden my screen goes black and I hear a "tch" after that I notice the light that indicates the laptop it's charging no longer turns on, try pressing power button to see if it works but nothing then I press the boot button that lenovo laptops have at one side and also nothing, today I bought tools to open the pc and disconnected the battery and yet nothing, dont know what to do now
Hello, yeah the electronics, die often that way. Obviously something is burned, it could be something simple as a mosfet,or something more difficult to find and replace. In my opinion you need the help of a professional...!
@@AnyrepairENG so something's burned I see, I got no car and don't know any professionals who I could ask to lend me a hand so I'll have to try doing my own research on UA-cam and try to make it work again, you gave me a clue already so thank you and please wish me luck
@@tuto4322 the best of luck my friend!
Checking every single pin, paramount. Something I learned from Tronicsfix. Awesome.
Good job, a time consuming repair :)
Thank you! I agree very time consuming...
What are the brand and model of your soldering iron? And the tips... Thanks... Great video... Greattings from Portugal 🇵🇹 🌟
The soldering tips are JBC original. The brand of the soldering pen is aixun a9 (jbc clone). Hello from Greece 🥰
@@AnyrepairENG it is sugon a9? Or aixun t320 or t3a ? Thanks
@@skysurfhf aifen -a9
great video, i thought this work would only be possible using a rework machine
Thank you very much!
Very good job? T245 or T210 soldering tip? Which temp? How about flux brand? It seems very good quality. Greetings from Romania!
Thank you very much! The soldering tip is 210, temperature used 350 Celsius. The flux is really good, is the chipquick smd291.
My asus rog just died overnight with a dead battery. Tested not passing 2 mosfets at positive rail. Jumped across and found shorted rail. Schematics were not found so I started removing coils and diodes until only the video bga chip was left. Unfortunately I don’t have a bga machine so heat gun on high! Cleaned pads with solder like you teach and short went away. What is the chances I can seat a new bga with my heat gun. New chip will have solder balls. Following your other procedures of course.
Hello, sorry to hear that! Iam very sceptical on placing a new bga chip that large with only a heat gun on top. It surely needs a preheater and low temperature on top about 290. Advanced soldering skills and luck are needed. Also a holder for the top nozzle.is a must! The success probability is very low, you know every first time, is difficult. Ps:you shouldn't jump the 2 mosfets... the repair process now is very difficult..
@@AnyrepairENG when I jumped the mosfet it just shutdown the charger. That’s how I discovered the short. At first I thought it just wasn’t charging and powering up. New video is chip is half the cost of a used motherboard and local shops wants the same price to install on bga station. I had forgotten about checking the memory chips for shorts first tho. How would I check them now? Asus gl503vm.
Check for ohms on the memory coil. With the gpu on the board it should be 16-60 ohms. Then there is no short!
and also bios password and dmi informition 32 mb and 16 ec in hp elitebook g6 g5 g8 and g9
nice video can u make a video on 32mb bios hp elite book g8 g6 g5 g9 touch and sound and wifi not work
Hello and it is a bios issue? How?
@@AnyrepairENG YES SOME TIME TOUCH NOT SHOW IN BIOS
AND SOUND IC IN HP 840 G5 NOT DECCITED
AND WIFI CARD NOT SHOW
@@HASSANHASSAN-xy3ozI dont think that it is bios issue. Maybe you're missing some voltages or communication lines.

what is the temperature of the pre-heater? in degrees celcius . Thanks
Hello, you can see it, on its led display, it is set to 120 celcius

OMG! Man, are you ok? This is an UEFI BIOS (basicaly old phoenix SCT 4.x family) NOT A LEGACY one! Hexediting it in a dumb way without extracting regions, and replacing NVRAM data in BIOS region is something hilariously stupid. Why you are not using basic UEFI utilities like UEFITool, Intel Flash Image Tool, Phoenix BIOS editor (for this platform), Samsung service DMI-tools? Are you going to write dump from another R270 E5 to R270 E4 you've got without replacing ME-region to clean one? Man...
This is the way to transfer the serial number and windows key to any ready to flash bios. It is not a way to clean me region, just watch the video.
Thanks for sharing... can you teach you to clean ME regian ? thank , greating from Portugal ...
Thank you too! I will try to make one too!
@@AnyrepairENG yahooooo next one

@@AnyrepairENG Hi, Thankyou for the video and the hack actually worked. But after some time the same problem aroused and the laptop is again giving the message to use the charger that was shipped with the laptop
FYI I am using the original 230 W lenovo charger that was shipped with the laptop and I have removed the charging port because I got it repaired from the service center and the port was heating so much that it was ruining the jack of the charger so I tried to connect it directly and it was working all fine till now. But now when I turned on my laptop it was again showing that message. Do you have any solution ?? By the way thanks for the hack I think I should once more repeat the fixing of the port.
@@SiddharthAtrey thank you so much for the feedback!
waiting for the tutorial of copying of serial number of board and windows and explanation of that process and why thanks alot
Ok stay tuned!!

nice job , i have a simillar board in atx size where no usb port is working....i'm going to see if i can fix it.
Thank you! Good luck with the repair!
So the adapter from aliexpress doesn't work? Unless you solder that, you need an original charger?
Yes this is the only way to cheat the board to sense 230w adapter
Yes this is the only way to cheat the board to sense 230w adapter
Hallo Why the ram Voltage is 2.5V ? I like your videos by the way.
Hello, thank you very much! The ddr4 ram voltage is 1.2V, but it requires 2 more voltages the Vtt 0.6V and 2V5 (2.5v) in order to register to the cpu
Wait... why not just remove the micro SD from the pcb and try to read it? Would it be easier?
In my opinion removing the micro sd card, it is more difficult,as it is plastic and everything is stored in it. I didnt want to miss a chance!
@@AnyrepairENG Yeah, still... it would be interesting to see how the contacts to SD card were made. I dont think they have been soldered, no way. They probably have some sort of spring contact pins on pcb, and card is simply glued to it.
@@fradd182 yes its not possible to solder the sd! But I couldnt risk the storage...
@@AnyrepairENG I understand, but i dont think that glue would need more than 130 c to melt. Im just suggesting to give it a try, if you ever come across the stick you can take a risk with.
@@fradd182 of cource I will and thank you for your suggestion!
Thank you for sharing
Something simple can save the day 😉
What kind of heating you used to heat the cpu off and then in? And how much extra you charge for this because alot of times people say its dead when its a CPU
I think they dont want to mess with cpu replacement, since it is a risky think to do and expensive to buy. It is not sure that you will buy a brand new one or a used not working cpu. I charge 100 euros for the job + the price of the cpu.
@@AnyrepairENG and how did you go about heating it? It didn't seem like hot air so I assumed it was sort of plate
@@LPgmxDan on the bttom side the preheater is IR but the upper heater is hot air. I own a ZM-r6000 station.
hey nice video first time i saw a video based on this particular pc... i was wondering if mayube you can give me some advice on what should i check if my lenovo y700 stops working after 2 or 3 days it only shows image, the keyboard stops working and eventually it goes into blue screen. then it makes a system recovery and i lose all updates and configurations
Thank you. At first I would check my disk. Then I would disable the discrete gpu, for testing.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’ve got exactly the same issue with same model . I’ve got continuity all the way to test point you was working on (ive got 5v on PP5V_SW_LCD_CONN) Still no backlight. Checking QP800 I’ve got 7v on pin 4 and 3. What do you think can be? Many thanks
Hello, on pin 4 you should have ppbus-g3h which is 12,6 volts. If you are having 7V there is something wrong with the mosfet's input. Check if something is pulling down the 12.5V.
This is my Greek channel profile (Anyrepair), you should check for partial shorting!
Water is a dielectric.
Yeah, and kills electronics!
