I have the 16mm f/1.4 EF-M lens for my M6 Mark II. Some people think it's a little soft. I like the lens. It has good Auto Focus and the results are good enough for posting online.

This is David from California. Quick note that I continue to love your videos using the M50. At this time, I cannot find this Neewer lens for sale anywhere, but it looks like the Artisans line of lenes are similar in performance. I like that you continue to take some B/W. With fall weather right around the corner, I will have to shoot more in color to catch the seasonal changes in nearby Yosemite and the Sierras. Your street photos remind me of what San Francisco use to be like, but sadly the last few years has made it too dangerous to visit. Keep up the excellent work.

Great tutorial, David. As a fellow 52Framer, this was super helpful. So I copied your technique and tried it myself. I didn't have a vast area like yours, but I was able to stitch 4 photos together and I thought I turned out o.k. I used my 22mm lens but I should have switched to the kit lens to see how that would have turned out. Nonetheless, it was a great tutorial and very helpful for future panorama shots I may want to take. (I also use the M50 mark ii)

HI David, I really enjoyed this. Another fan of the kit lens here, but like one of your commentators says, there are some copies that are of poorer quality. I find mine is very sharp - it is also a very useful focal length range - excellent for shooting videos of steam trains in action. I think sometimes I should use it more for my photography. I have recently got a used Canon M5 to use alongside my M50 (it came out before the M50) . I find the way the screen tilts - very useful for street photography (it goes in the opposite directions to the M50s) - but the M50 is still 'king' for vlogging and doing pieces to camera, as well as general video and photography. I do like the additional dials on the M5, and I think the build quality is better - it feels 'nicer'. It uses the M mount too so I can use all of my exisiting lenses. Having said that the M50 is still a cracking little camera - and I will keep mine going too for as long as it works. I love the collection of M mount lenses too - they are so light and are of brilliant quality. Some wonderful images here David - I am hoping to get to 'my' local wood soon too to do an autumnal video. Great video . Take care, Paul

Hi David hope your well. Great set of images taken with the M50 mk2, I have the first version with the kit lens & 55-200mm lens, I have several nikon full frame cameras but my go too these day always seems to be the M50. Considering the M50 is classed as an entry level camera, its a great bit of kit, the 15-45mm lens is a realy good lens. I also us my M50 for video, even though i have a camcorder. I'm on the look out for a good secondhand M6 but as yet no success. Best wishes stay safe Jon

Hi again from California. I was not sure what to expect when I bought the 55-200mm. Turned out to be a great lens, which I am keeping within reach at all times. It provided me with some fantastic macro shots on a recent walk but never seen it promoted as a good macro lens. Keep up the good work.

I did a walk with my M50 M2 and the kit lens yesterday. Mine works very well. I had forgotten how good mine really is. I had been using the EF-M 22 and EF-M 32 alot.

Sounds like some people get good kit lenses and some get bad ones..mine is not so good..

A very pleasant short walk in my local wood call Linford Wood. It was good to put the kit lens on my Canon EOS M50 mark ii, it is so light and the results from it are acceptable. I just got this lens for my M6II. Really nice autofocus wide angle lens and f/1.4 fast.

The Sigma 18-200 Macro Contemporary is a joy. With the adapter ef-efm , you have covered 99% situations with a really good sharpness all the range and nice color rendition. Is my favourite all around. It is a lot better than the classic Sigma 18-250. I don't know why nobody talks about

Hello, I bought new Canon lens 55-200mm to my M50 and when I zoom in and zoom out , lens make squeak sound. is it normal ?
