Lisa and Jennie are rappers. Rosé and Jisoo are vocals. Tho Jennie does also sing (usually the chorus in every song) and lisa rarely sings(when she does, she slays). Jisoo can rap too, but we don't get much of it aside from low quality fan cam recordings, and i don't think we've heard Rosé rapping seriously yet.

Just some additional background for you: the group is made up of 7 members, all with awesome vocals, visuals and dance ability; the first few seconds before the rap are sung by (in order) Chiquita, Rora, Ahyeon, Pharita and Haram which is followed by Ruka and Asa (rappers). Please do a reaction to their “Last Evaluation” videos.

2:43 to answer the question, it is kinda a talent competition but not exactly that at the same time. In the beginning of the year YG Entertainment announced the new group. It was a big thing since the last girl group produced by YGE is Blackpink who debuted 7 years ago (so it has been a while) and they become a global sensation and currently are the biggest girlgroup, and to add on that they also had produced a girlgrup before blackpink (called 2NE1, debuted in 2009) who also were a big deal. So the hype started then, as people had high expectations. Then they releases a solo performance video of each member, which was the first time they officially revealed the members (these videos are on YGEnt own yt channel, not on the group's channel). Most clips in this video however are from what followed those first videos. They made a type of survival show called Last Evaluation. Ive seen you reacted to kpop already but i dont know how familiar you are with the kpop scene, so i'll explain anyway: In kpop trainees practice for some years before the label selects the ones with most potential for the final lineup. During those years they have to go through monthly evaluations in front of the label's producers, choreographers and sometimes even other artists who already debuted under the same label. Now, YGE usually likes to do these survival shows where they gather multiple trainees and make a competition for the final lineup, which helps the trainees win a fanbase even before debut. but they alwasy did it with boygroups and never with girlgroups. This time, they decided to make this show that would showcase the process of finalizing the lineup for the group. In this show the 7 trainees revealed through the solo performance videos had to go through a few challenges/missions related to dance and vocals (thats why it is called "The Last Evaluation"). Eventually, a couple weeks after the show was over they announced the official lineup (the final lineup decided by the producer). These images are mostly (if not all) from this show. If you are interested in seeing how that process goes, you can watch it. it is on Babymosnter's yt channel and has 8 episodes. If you dont want to watch the full 8 episodes you can still check every performance they did there, since they were released also on their channel.
