This one was certainly a challenge!

Avoid those split sensor sockets. They will slip and round off a tight sensor every time. You should have just cut the wires flush with the sensor and used a 1/2 inch drive 6 point deep socket. Also, the sensor won't affect starting as it doesn't really function until the engine warms up and goes into closed loop.

If you're doing this. why you wouldn't clone an original style flip key with remote functions is beyond me. They are like $15 on Ebay and would help sell the car.

Miracles do happen though my 2013 Lounge version wuith 87k on the clock only went and passed the Mot all it needed was handbrake adjustment total including mot cost £100 all done , so yeah I may sell it if anyones interest a yellow 500 everything al good , I want to get a bigger car as i have health issues and yeah a 500 is no good as i live in a rural area , A Volvo i want probably S40 or similar

Great looking little car, I have the same colour on a 19 plate and just had to have a new slave & master cyl on the clutch which was creaking. Yesterday I had a cambelt/water pump. I also recently put on 4 new Avon ZV7's and had a service. I'm too old and riddled with Arthritis to be able to work on my car any longer so it's cost me over £1200 in the last 6 months but I absolutely love these little cars and hopefully done spending for a while ( famous last words 🤣) Really enjoyed the video and looking forward to hearing how you get on with the coolant problem.

You should be okay storm wise - we have it really bad in west wales currently (7th dec 11:30) but it should calm down before it gets to you. Hope this car stops causing you issues soon 🤞🤞

9.50 Hi great videos,If when your trying to remove lambda sensors ,your able to run the engine and get it warm ,then stop the engine and try and remove the sensor ,I found it helped.

I just disconnected the battery left it for 3 minutes then connect it back up the milage stopped flashing

I’m on my third Fiat 500 as I love them so much a silver diesel then second a white 500 lounge ….I’ve now got a red 2014 lounge Fiat 500 around three years ago….I loved the colour until you mentioned about the red ones also recently my mileage is flashing and the Bluetooth needs repairing but at the moment I’ve bought a Bluetooth that fits in the cigarette lighter port but now I’m wanting to change my car for a different colour. 😫😫😫

I found on the cowling if you cut the bit out the cowling which is easier it is actually quite a firm fit and stays in place once bolted in front - added one to my sport and had not trouble saves making that hole in the top of the dash

The new cowling looks great, good job, the airbag removal I found to be a pain I think you do the left side release first then the right side. That car must have been through a nasty accident for that amount of damage, not pleasant.

The grey 500 one on the road the bonnet looks set up to high , gaps look wrong ,dont know uf you finished with it

The road looks so much better with your Fiat 500's all over the place - better than seeing the usual ugly SUV's and pretend off road vehicles that blight the landscape .... sounds like the light is fading haha yeah I can defo hear that too !!

Did I just see you disconnect the airbags with the battery still connected? It’s much easier disconnecting the seat plugs kneeling outside the car and removing bolts then tipping the seat backwards to unplug them.

Hiya buddy on Ebay they sell remote keys with un cut blade for £25 just type Fiat 500 remote key and it comes up the first one all you need to do then is get the blade cut and it programed hope this helps m8

Mate 😂 your a glutton for punishment I work at Copart and out management knows the cars we selling are dodgy 😂 some are Cat B and are never meant to be sold but we still do it , I'm only on here as guilt conscience , My advice would be buy off an eBay auction it would be safer for you as a trader , Also your buying like the most unreliable car ever made a Fiat 500 😂 no wonder your not earning a crust 😱

You should be able to use the car. Can tax it and insure it without the v5 if my memory serves me correctly. I would let the dvla know who’s using the car to cover your back. Clearly you’ve made contact with police. Again you could contact them to notify who’s using the car.

You can tax it with the v62 as long as it mot and insured

bugger .... there was something dodgy about this car from the start I remember saying is this s drug dealers car ? there were weird things in the boot and the car looked like it was abused by the previous owner
