Beuatiful
I'm sure he probably looks the same as the day he went in there. Though I do wish they would allow at least 1 viewing by some video cameras photo's ect. Its possible, since he was embalmed, that with aid from the tomb and glass case (when examined previously, it was stated that he was in a 3 layered glass box.) that decay would be minimal to nothing. That is if it was done correctly. Wouldn't it be awesome to peer inside to see a perfect, life like, Napoleon?
Actually, we're both wrong, Tommy. I did some research and there's actually his ashes in there.
You want to see a decomposing body?
What did the tornado pick up?
@fastlane59 There are 6 different coffins placed one inside the other like a russian doll. The first one is made of iron, the second : mahogany, the third and fourth : lead, the fifth : ebony, the sixth (the one we can see) : porphyry and marble. There are many legends about those different coffins, and some claim that the first one is in wood, the second in iron, the third in mahogany, the fourth in lead, etc.
you want to see more of Cádiz and the Province?? see the video of my profile.
This British bunker was built over top of an earlier German bunker. This hill is a graveyard to many thousands of men lost both in the tunnels dug under it, and those buried in the five major mine explosions under the hill. My great uncle James of the 7th B.C. Regiment (Canada) was killed here on the last day of the Battle of Mount Sorrell. June 13 1916. He's buried at Railway Dugouts CWG Cemetery a short distance north of the Hill. We have a wee dram of the Macallan on that day every year.
his tomb was on an island first i think. and after 40 years he was moved to paris
@BlogMike or is he,lol
I love that city! We had so much fun there. I remember walking those same roads!
Wow what a beautiful place!!!
I was there two weeks ago. It´s not a nice place, but very interesting.
i was there nearly exactly a year to the day before you... and made a pretty similar video, the length and evertything. Obviously great minds think alike. I posted mine as a video response so you can compare
