Best Homemade Pizza In Denmark? Making it awesome on STUDENT BUDGET!

Pizza that you get in Denmark is simply not the same as in the rest of the world and therefore I've spend the first 5 years of my life in Denmark in an active pursuit of finding an (almost) italian style pizza. I believe I got the recipe and it tasted awesome :) Also it's pretty cheap so ...

    Hi! I have a question: i will be studying for two years in denmark. Suppose i apply for SU and they grant it because I am working that 10/12 hours per week. What if I get fired or I resign from a job while i am still studying and receivlng SU. Will i get in trouble for that? Even if I use that lapse of unemployed to look for a job?

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide 3 місяці тому

      In case you lose your job, you might get into trouble. They will check to see if you worked every month the average amount of hours and in some extreme cases, they demand the SU back for all subsequent months, even though in the second month you manage to find work again. It's better to always have some fallback option like Vikar or Wolt so that you can make your hours.

    Hi, I am a French student and I am going to carry out a 6-months internship in Copenhaguen. My internship is paid (8000DKK per month). Can you please tell me if I will have to pay some tax ? If yes, how much approximatly ?

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide 5 місяців тому

      Hey, yes you need to pay taxes. One way of doing that is applying for a tax card. You can do that even without residence permit. You can read more on skat.dk . Taxes are usually 8% labor market contribution and then 38% from the rest. But you also get a monthly deduction or "tax-free" amount. That's around 1.500DKK to 2.000DKK. From this, you only pay the 8%.

    Hi, im 26, already finished a Masters in my native country and have a full time job. Problem is i dont like Serbia that much and I looove Denmark. So now Im thinking, do I try to just apply to jobs from here, which chances are nearly 0 for some employer to invite me to Denmark Or do I apply for a masters in something, become a student, finish my masters at 28 and find a job while im there and get integrated as much as possible. Difference is me staying in my town garantees a salary and a home, while going to denmark will eat up all my savings and there is a lot of room to fail spectacularly. What do you think, person reading this?

    I'm applying for PhD scholarship but part of the programme puts the candidate to rely on the SU vouchers and the other half is sponsored by the faculty. I dont check any of the conditions you listed for me to be considered to have "equal rights with the Danes" are there any exceptions where I could use the university's approval to bypass this and still get the vouchers? Or am I doomed?

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide Рік тому

      I don’t like the word ‘doomed’ but if you are not from the EU then you likely have to figure out an alternative way. Consider asking your university councilor about this, perhaps they have the power to grant exceptions. Otherwise as far as I can tell, you get fairly good salary as a PhD student so it could be enough to get by for a while
