Hi, nice that you took a little look into Angelina's rabbit hole. she was 9 years old when she sang this song, she arranged it herself based on the original by Screaming Jay Hawkins from 1956, she won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 with songs by Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and the song Summertime from the opera "Porky and Bess" You are at the very beginning and I hope that you will continue on the journey, because there is a lot to discover, she is the best singer in the world, in my opinion), but you will find out for yourself and believe me, you will be just as addicted to her voice as all the other fans (Angels), she is also called the barefoot angel with 1000 voices, why she always performs barefoot is another story, she can adapt and improve her voice to any song and also convey a lot of emotions and she has not only written around 200 covers but also 14 originals by herself and 2 written for her, all of which are amazing and even legendary now and there is a lot to tell, I look forward to more reactions and have now subscribed to you, greetings from Germany, by the way she is now 18 years old.

I was already a subscriber but I am So excited you are going to listen to Pentatonix. They are the best a cappella group, 3 Grammys and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you like Home Free then you better think these guys for it because these are the guys that brought acapella back to the mainstream and let somebody like home Free and Voiceplay enjoy the audience these guys created. Theyre the most decorated acapella group with 3 grammys, something like 5 nominations, a star in hollywood walk of fame just to name a couple things. They literally can cover any genre, they've done rap two hard Rock, jazz to classical, pop to EDM, traditional and Christmas to country. You name it and they bave something for you. If I may suggest that you might go back and start at towards the beginning, so you can kind of see the evolution of their sound as time passes. These guys really did make their own sound, there was no label micromanaging them so they took it to UA-cam and they did it their way. Something that everybody I believe is eternally grateful for because that is why they are as great as they are. So id go with "imagine", "hallelujah" "Dance of the sugar plum fairy" (Grammy), "Daft Punk" (Grammy) "Can't Hold Us". Enjoy!

I love the appreciation for Kevin at the end, while knowing nothing about him. Kevin is such an absolutely impressive individual, both creatively and academically. Normally he is the beatboxer more of a background harmony. Whenever he gets his moment to be front and center, he is remarkable. Hallelujah, ‘Thank You’ (original), Say Something, O Holy Night (newer), Oh Come All Ye Faithful, Dance Of The Sugarplum (both newer as a group, as well as ‘reimagined’ with Matt and Kevin), Sound Of Silence, Little Drummer Boy (sorry, they rule Christmas), Kiss From A Rose, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mary Did You Know, Wizard Of Ahhs, Sing (original), Kevin’s Fifth That should tide you over for a bit. The dude at the end with the high voice is Kevin Olusola. He's the beat boxer. His high voice is him employing what is known as a "head voice." He also has a normal, masculine, "chest voice." Kevin graduated from Yale as a pre-med student. He speaks fluent Chinese and is a killer on the cello. The other black dude who does bass is Matt Sallee. Older Pentatonix videos will have Avi Kaplan as bass. Matt replaced him when Avi took time to be nearer his family. The three white singers are Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, and Kirstin Maldonado. Those three were high school buddies. Mitch is known for his high register. He's known in the biz as a countertenor, a man whose tenor register is higher than other tenors. He often couples with Kirsten to deliver incredible high passages, often singing two or three notes apart (A-C, B#-D#, for instance), to give more impact. Scott generally covers tenor and some bass passages. He has a marvelously melodious tone. Oh, BTW, Matt isn't as well known as the other four. To get to know him better, I recommend watching Pentatonix's version of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," available on UA-cam.
