Why not install Windows 10 directly on a VM with clock set to year 10000 ? One of problem is the Windows is confused for the "long" jump between 2024 and 9999. You have better result with this way. You have the same problem when you start an old computer shutdown in 2000 and start it after many years (CPU/RAM Load).
