This lady is a little bit biased because the Russian coach was only an assistant coach that joined in 2022 and the Chinese team’s main coach is Sun Dan who put the efforts behind the routines, clothing and music design. Shes the silver medalist from 2008 Beijing Olympics. If you noticed, the Chinese team danced to reflect the traditional CHINESE rather than Russian culture. It’s so prejudiced to credit an Asian effort and hard work to a white-Anglo European (Russian here). No offense to Russians love you guys!
For anyone interested in behind the scene story of the Chinese team searched on UA-cam “咪咕独家 中国艺术体操队 共生共舞”. It’s very clear that Sun Dan is the main coach and put her utmost effort for the girls. Anastasia is too young to be an experienced and well-rounded coach but was a solid technical demonstrator. Save it for guys who say China wins because Russia was absent. Russia’s absence was an opportunity to all countries. Just because Russia didn’t participate didn’t mean the trophy was automatically handed to China. Also the Chinese team had been ranked world no.1 before the Paris Olympics in this season and won gold in the World Championships and World Cup. Their successes were step-by-step traceable efforts and accomplishments.
Interesting about the coach, didn’t know that! Of course, it goes without saying that the entire team, including the coaches and especially the girls, are all responsible for the victory!
THANK YOU! Everyone diminish Sun Dan work when she is the big brain behind everything
Anastasia Bliznyuk is Olympic Gold medalist in 2012 and again in 2016. In 2020 she won silver. She is a legend and she knows what she is talking about when she coaches a team. Why should she not use chinese music for her chinese team? Just because she is russian? Weird take. Russian coaches work all over the world and they respect and value other peoples culture in the routines of their athletes.
@@insideAdirtyMind Hi, you are completely fabricating. I speak fluent Russian and have in-depth knowledge of the Russian culture and society so I was in no way disrespecting the assistant Russian coach of the Chinese RG team. The reason why I knew she’s not behind the production was because Chinese state media had produced quite a few documentaries documenting the team preparation of the routines for the Paris Olympics and Su Dan take FULL credit for her coaching and the assistant coach is more of a technical demonstrator rather than producer. You can watch full documentaries such as 咪咕独家 中国艺术体操集体全能 just type these Chinese characters in UA-cam and watch the documentaries yourself to know the truth
With that extra 30% higher income in New York, you will use it to pay health insurance and medical bills, and prescriptions
Really depends on your employer and how generous they are with your health insurance policy!
Thank you so much for sharing! This video is so accurate. It's lovely in Paris, but oh my gosh it can be hard to set up a life here. I've been living here for a little bit over a year and things are only just now feeling more settled, BUT it still feels like there's a long way to go though haha
Totally true! Even after 5 years here some things remain utterly incomprehensible to me… what brings you to Paris :)?
@@KatiaZavialova Lots of things! Mainly for the experience and interesting opportunities. Also to learn French. ☺
10:55 What an ass-tounding view 😂
👁👄👁
6:08 Soo Emily can be paid her high US expat salary and have French unemployment protection at the same time? 🤔 sounds too good to be true…
If she negotiated her contract well, then yes! If she works in France most of her time, she’s entitled to French social protections.
im chinese american. Big thanks to the russian coach!!! she is absolutely amazing!!!! no way china would have won first without her haha!! she must be an amazing teacher
Haha big thanks to her, but also to all the hard-working girls! They were phenomenal!
@@KatiaZavialova she basically said that even her students could take 1st lmao. True Champion
@@KatiaZavialova she is an amazing women. alot of chinese people on douyin says that she is truly an amazing person :)
No way they would have won without her? It's not like she had to train you, these girls were already 1st class athletes, say thanks but please don't steal the glory away from those girls that dedicated their lives to their art
@@dczhen4358 U Moron. Which team at the olympics arent 1st class athletes huh. Im chinese and we all know without her 1st wouldnt have been possible! Amazing teachers are what everyone respects in china!
Are the judges professional?if russian is not around that iscnot an olympic
I’m actually not sure who the judges were… but at least the coach of the winning team was Russian!
Wow! Thank you for taking us with you on this unforgettable experience!😊💖
Glad you liked it :)! You are right - absolutely unforgettable…
@@KatiaZavialova 💖💖💖
I was so sad for the Bulgarian team. They are the European all-around champions for two years in a row and their routines usually get the highest scores. it' a pity they made a mistake at such a crucial moment.
Thanks for sharing❤❤
Actually, Italy has one big mistake in 5 hoops. Alessia lost the hoop (it happened very fast!) on one of the exchanges. It looked like it just slipped from her hand, but this mistake was very costly.
Wow, well seen by you (and the judges)! I didn’t spot that to be honest, I understand better why they were upset… remarkable that team Italy still got a medal!
Nice review!
13:36 Wow what a crazy move 😂 why catch the ball yourself when you can outsource 🧠
Big brain move, no doubt!
Wow, thanks so much for taking us with you 😍 what a great video and atmosphere!
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more ;)
Hey Katya! thanks for the video👍🏻 Can you share your career coach's contact information?
9:05 France does beat Italy doesn’t it 😂😂
Glad you liked my little joke :)
Love this type of videos, can’t wait to watch😍
Thanks for the kind words, let me know what you think :)
I did not quite understand the process of getting a naturalized citizenship in France, earlier you said that it after 5 years of legal status you can apply for the citizenship but here you were asking for a 10 year resident card i guess.
Thank you for watching this video with such attention :)! You are right that I could have explained this nuance better. In fact, since I have lived in France for 5 years, I can do all of the three things below: 1. Renew the 5-year temporary residence permit 2. Apply for the 10 year permanent residency 3. Apple for the French citizenship. Before getting the citizenship, I’d like to get the residency! Hence my exchange with the French authorities in the video chapter on bureaucracy specifically on (b) getting the 10 year residence permit in parallel to (a) renewing the 5 year one. Hope this is clearer!
@@KatiaZavialova Got it, Thanks very much for the detailed explanation! Did you choose to apply for the 10 year PR to be safe and secure in the mean time you could apply for your citizenship because the process is a bit complex and time consuming?
That is exactly right :)
You should have compared Paris with London. Because NYC is anyday a winner in terms of salary and taxes with better opportunities
True that NYC is a winner. I did look at the disposable income for the same Project Manager role in other major European cities like Zurich, Amsterdam and Munich, and Paris is still behind. Have not looked at London!
@@KatiaZavialova Nice, Do you personally think wages in Paris compensates for the high cost of living and housing crisis in Amsterdam and high taxes in München? Or are they any better?
Great video, your editing skills are very nice
Thank you for your support :)
Thanks for the honest video. I have watched a few of your videos and I enjoy the content and your genuine insight. 😊
Thank you for your support, means a lot to me :)
Good day Ms. Katia, do so enjoy your excursions introducing us to places of much interest in & around Paris. May I recommend an excursion out of the ordinary, to a location within Paris, the Pere Lachaise Paris Cemetery, historical people such as; Edith Piaf, Frederic Chopin, Marcel Proust, Jim Morrison, & Oscar Wilde are all buried there. With you at the helm, it'll be a superb tour, introducing us to each of the aforementioned renown peoples tombs. Food for thought? Thank you for your engaging & informative videos. Best wishes to you & your hubby 💐
Thank you for this idea, I love it! Stay tuned :)

Nice to see human interaction is alive and well at Paris markets, something that'd go a long way to improve the wellbeing of residents :) Won't say no to a postcard from Paris <3 Cheers! xo
I agree, this brings a human side to an otherwise a very transactional market exchange… I’m ok to wait for an extra 30 seconds in the queue so that the overall atmosphere in the country is healthier as the result Noted re: postcard <3
