I have only attempted a few trail games. So in no way a knowledgeable source. It has similar rules to Judge Dredd, but they have focused on heavily on close combat and heroes can be a beast, but overwhelmed by numbers. I plan on doing a series of vids going through the rulebook and a few games. So watch this space.

The sculpts are very nice and I would say there has been some real improvement in the resin quality over the last 6 months. Still room for improvement but better than 4 years ago

Quality is definitely nice. Just haven't grabbed me enough. I will keep an open mind and purchase if I can use the model in a project. Or if they are on sale again

I've seen Sláine wear different colours of tartan. I feel it depended on artist. For me I am sticking with the Horned God artwork that looks yellow to me. But I've definitely seen some red and green tartan in the past.

I think they call them miniature painting holders. Lots of great third party options on the market. I got mine free in paint sets. Take a quick Google and see what works for you.

Well I think they wanted to have a fair fight for the most part, hence not super elite side versus a horde. Which I am glad for, could imagine painting volgan hordes 🤣 As for miniatures I guess it was a see how it goes. If it's popular it might get add-ons. Only problem is the whole 2000AD range was championed by Paul Sawyer who sadly had to leave the company this year. So I fear the games maybe in limbo.

I think they are glass canons. They can hit hard, but are easily slowed down and overwhelmed. Also easily outnumbered due to the expensive gear like jet bikes and jet packs.
