the characters' accents make the dub such a joy to watch tbh. the show becomes aggressively british and it's cute lmao the animation in the newer season is so gorgeous too omfg. i've loved BB since the anime first aired so it's crazy seeing the evolution of the style and characters

It's basically pronounced like "Me-Kay-Lus" and then you add the English accent. Some characters say "Mih" instead of the "Me" though.

I like how many anime dubs even have the characters use the accents of their country, I wonder if they used British actors or had them take accent classes for the dub
Ppl complain about dubs but 1. Subs aren't accessible to everyone. 2. Accents are better conveyed via dubs.
I’m pretty sure the accents are from years of experience however the voice actor for Violet is actually British.
