After completing my Alta VIa 1 Aosta hike, I spent one extra night in Rifugio Torino,
Punta Helbronner. Views to Mont Blanc / Monte Bianco were fabulous.

Sliding snowshoe trip in Finland, over fields and forest in heavy snow and very cold weather, - 27 Celsius. Beautiful snowy landscape, forest and sunshine. In FInland (this is not Lapland!) sun is up about 5 hrs a day. Maybe that's why we Finns want to spend time outside by daylight. January 5th, 2024.
