I'm in india,can this variety grow indoors without direct sun?I meant bright indoor light?
I’ve kept mine inside with non direct bright light and it slows them down a lot. I’m sure they would still live, but I doubt they would stay full and good looking.

How long does it take for a leave to fully grow?
It depends on the climate. Here in Virginia (zone8a/7) they do very well in the late spring- late fall, but must be brought indoors throughout the winter and early spring which slows the growth. Overall, it took around 5mo for a 6” spear to fully extend and open.
Hi im growing foxtail here in the philippines the normal temp here is 29c well we have a tropical climate sofoxtails is much healthier here… May i ask bro? How old are they?
I believe they are 3-4yrs, but I did not propagate so I’m not 100% sure.

I believe they are around 2yrs, but since I got them from Lowes I’m not completely sure.
how big is the pot?
They’re 5 gal pots, and The only reason I haven’t gone bigger yet is to make sure they fit in that bedroom this year! Haha
@@destinationkeypalmsnsuch8021 i have a foxtail too that is pushing out its 3rd frond rn. how long do you think it can stay in a 5 gallon?

I’m not 100% sure since I didn’t grow this one from seed, but I’m guess about 3-4yrs due to the amount of fronds.
How many days it will take to grow 10 feet
They have grown about a foot since I got them on Labor Day and they’re just about 8ft now. I’m also expecting them to slow down on growth over the winter, but I’m thinking that they’ll probably be close to 10ft by the end of next summer.
