One of the first things an old bodyman told me when I was learning was that new paint will not hide anything, but rather it will bring out issues. Some of the issues you have with the job are definitely related to the MAACO business model and are going to come with lower prices. A good body shop would have done a far better job, but it would have probably cost you three times the amount.

The daytime running lights are the white led bars. You had the marker lights on. Your daytime running lights don’t come on till you put the truck in drive.

I just got a 1994 Miata with no power steering and has the Rspec rear wing and lower spoiler👍🏻 it’s also the same color as yours and has a tan top and customer tan leather interior👍🏻 I love this car but I want to do gold bbs wheels to make the tan pop 👍🏻👍🏻 it has the Rspec or 14” aluminum wheels but they are gloss black!!

$1000 yep it's worth it! iv owned a insurance approved big Bodyshop for 10 years. $1000 wouldn't even get it in our doors let alone touch it. Maaco fills a gap in the market for broke people on a budget and opens up the possibilities for them to do their car up. stop being a dick and realize what section of the market you are in. that is ridiculously cheap!. Maybe for your standards go find some more money and pay 5k for a spray job. Don't expect Champaign on a beer budget. Fucking cheapskate.

Seeing as my local shop quoted me $6800 for a basic bitch white paint job to just clean things up on a 24 year old small work truck I'd say you got a damn good job for such a cheap price. Or perhaps my local shop is just a bunch of scammers exploiting people with more money than sense. Either way they arent getting my business. But Maaco might. The local shop had the balls to quote me 2300 for paint alone. Like fuck off....this isnt candle apple red with opalescent flake and full body hand pinstripes. The more I watch this the angrier I get at the quote I got from my local paint shop for my truck.
