Очень красивая работа👍
Bloody nice blade, look forward to more.
Hi Uncle Aaron, looking for forward to seeing more videos. Keep up the great work. -Jonathan
Really appreciate your taking the time to explain every step along the way. The finished product is beautiful and the video is extremely informative. I’m about halfway through my first attempt at feather. Your detailed description of the process is very helpful.
Great video, question though how come some people add flux before the heat and some add steel powder (?) on it,,, just curious... Im fascinated by this craftsmanship 👍👍💯✌️
Flux is used very sparingly. Dry weld is way better.
Great job on the knife there! And you now have a new subscriber.
Just found you this morning! Took me all of 2 seconds to subscribe. Can't wait to see more! Beautiful craftsmanship 👏
Muchas gracias!
Wicked
I just happened to mention my new found interest to my son (Burley cong.) last night. He told me about you. I have only watched 1 of your videos, but in my opinion, it is the best produced.
Love your videos! I wish my blades were this nice! One day hopefully!
Pretty obvious people are buying expensive knives to look at. Not to use.
Gorgeous
A beautiful work of art 👍
Absolutely beautiful
Amazing video, thank-you for posting! Do you let the billet cool in air between every layer or do you have a trick you can share? Thanks
Both!
I do let it cool between welds that way I can grind it clean
This video is great!! I’m learning how to work with Leather right now and enjoy seeing the process documented so well! Thanks for taking the time to do this! The knife if beautiful too!
I'm excited to watch the series. Very beautiful piece.
I have watched several videos with elaborate diagrams and such, but never show the billet orientation during forging. This video is by far the best I have seen. I am on my third attempt at feather damascus .I feel pretty confident with help of this video , the 3rd attempt will be a success. Thank You!
Curious as to why you do this over peening it?
How would you like an English Apprentice for a week !
Rob , that was phenomenal!
Definitely more videos. I like the pace and knowledge content you include. There’s no substitute for your talent though. Even with all the knowledge, the maker still needs to get the craftsmanship right. And that’s all on the individual.
Yes more videos!
Great design!!!
More videos please sir 👍🙌🔥
Very satisfying to watch! Keep up the good work! :)

First time seeing molten salt heating method
🔥🔥
Another great video, I really appreciate this series!
Very well done video one of the better produced I have seen, and I learned a fair bit as well! Great job! As a relatively new bladesmith 2.5ish years I have been watching a lot of videos and this one ranks towards the top if not the top, for cinematography, good information, and very smooth and informative commentary.
I've been making knives for a few years now but really only the last year of that at any sort of "pro" level. I've basically just recently started to watch master smith's on UA-cam to hopefully learn a technique or two and I'm really happy to see someone else that does things exactly as I do it pretty much. Reinforces my confidence in what I've been doing. Fantastic knife, great work here.
I can tell you have taught many classes , this is first i have seen of your work the very best Thank you. I didn't quite get how you kept track that dark edge ,is that why you stacks of 2 keeping the 1080 next eachother . I can't wait to watch more
Such a cool technique
Great work!

I see you use a salt bath. I am thinking of getting one! any thoughts
love your content
these are beautifully filmed and produced videos.
Shout out to my brother
@@jessicagarcia5379 your brother is the cameraman?
Yes
@@jessicagarcia5379 haha wow, it's beautifully filmed and lit, noticeably better in quality than other channels. so how did your brother and Aaron begin working together?
Enjoyed all the videos in the series and your little assistants 👍👍
Beautiful knife and sheath. I'm a big believer that the sheath is your last chance to show your vision with the knife. We buy with our eyes especially in today's world of online sales. The sheath design and overall aesthetics need to match the knife. You sir nailed it
Great video 👍
Awesome man! You are absolutely right… What the hell is a knife without a sheath. I enjoyed watching the entire project and looking forward to what’s to come. Thanks for sharing!
beautiful bowie and pattern
Una obra de arte. Mis respetos y felicitaciones desde Chile.
Just a gorgeous knife. subscription added.
For a 15“ blade Bowie 21“overall length How thick and wide at the base of the blade would you want the blade?
