    As a practice, don't drink straight from a river. Water bourne illnesses are seriously no joke when you're in backcountry! Get a Grayl purifier, Sawyer Squeeze purifier, Katadyn Befree or even one of those cheap filter bottles as a minimum.

    Never camp under Beech tree's even in moderate winds. A Beech tree sheds it's lower limbs as it grows. They die off and become brittle. Just have a look at all the dead branches on the ground next time you see a Beech tree.

    • @BandFamilyAdventures

      This is definitely true - although often you'll find wind direction can be funnelled into a specific direction based on the surrounding topography.

    Aluminum is bad! Get a stainless steel water bottle instead. Plastic cutting boards are bad for your health! Wooden or stainless steel cutting boards are better. Please do research before suggesting these harmful materials.

      Most people on the planet have mircro-plastics in their blood from drinking food and food sources. So I think using a small plastic chopping board occasionally is the least of our worries tbh!

    First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video!!!! You're incredible. I have a very detailed question for you, but no worries if you don't have the time to answer it. I am going to be launching a PR campaign with the goal of getting 25,000-50,000 signatures on a petition to help move a piece of legislation forward. I am fairly well versed on most of the social media world, but have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to Facebook Groups. Realistically this campaign would last for 6 months since that is when the next legislative cycle would start. With that said, would it be worth it to put effort into a facebook group? Or, is it to short of a time frame to be valuable? If so, would you suggest running a promo like the one you suggested in this video to increase Group count faster, or would that degrade the quality of those who joined? Don't feel pressured to respond, but if you can, even a sentence or two would mean the world. Again, thank you so much for your time.

    • @BandFamilyAdventures
      @BandFamilyAdventures 2 місяці тому

      Thank you for the kind words!! I’m happy you found it helpful :) I think for this sort of campaign you’ll want lots of different approaches to marketing to increase your reach. A group will grow faster than a page (especially if you can encourage people who join to have conversations - put post out with questions and ask them their opinions and this will get the conversation flowing). So I would definitely try opening one! As it’s a short timeframe it might be worth trying ads alongside the techniques I suggest in the video. Very happy to answer questions :) Also do you have a link for signatures? I’d love to take a look!

      @@BandFamilyAdventures You can feel them if they`re there. They give you a terrific headache. I stayed at an old hotel where a female spirit energy was present at my room. She gave me a terrible headache. She didn`t manifest herself in full view, and she didnt make a sound but the energy in the room was very heavy because of her presence. Sometimes spirit energies make you feel cold. Some of them are very powerful, and can affect batteries, mobile phone, computers, tv sets, etc. I have had quite a few experiences with spirit energies. You have three types of spirits, or ghosts. The first one is the earth bound. They don`t know that they have died, and still roam the place that they lived. They can be quite problematic, and cause problems for the living. The second one is the spirit who knows it`s dead, but still lingers on. Those spirits are usually not a problem. They don`t want to cause problems for the living. The third one are the ones who cause poltergeist activity. They are usually called tricksters spirits. They can be quite difficult, and cause a lot of problems. I wouldnt approach one at all. The best thing is to try to help them move over to the other side. The same goes with the earthbound spirits. If the spirit knows that it`s dead, but still comes around, you can`t remove them. But spirits like they never cause a problem. They`re usually quiet.
