Sooooo, not for a dummy like me… I just want a toy for adults that has a camera on it that will go just about anywhere, besides my drone. You know, something you can pursue animals with on the ground, bugs, wildlife, pets. I have overhead covered and follow larger wildlife with the drone but, would like to have something on the ground as well… ✌️😎

These are great. Range is much better than I expected. Saves a pcie slot and I have spare usb 2 ports anyway.

Just had a weird issue with this chassis. I moved from another rosewill chassis to this one. After the move, Unraid was showing a lot of CRC UDMA errors for the 2nd drive in the first module. I checked all of my connections, and everything seemed to be good. I even tried moving the drives to another module but that didn't help. The problem seemed to be coming from the hot swap module itself. I simply put the drive in a free hot swap module and I haven't received any more error notifications.

So, external case and they cheap out with a seagate Barracuda inside. So, you get people using for backups and it's an SMR drive. I don't like what nowadays these companies are doing, WD, Seagate. I don't think the general public is equipped to judge what they are really buying... but again, they also buy storage devices from aliexpress, guess it's OK for a cheap external drive... Fun fact, you can build the same thing with a general purpose adapter and a similar drive, and it costs you less probably... Again, not for the general public, although it's basically like playing lego.

81w at idle is still far too high if you don’t have a GPU in there. I run a 4690T with parts cobbled together and it idles at 26w, newer CPUs could potentially go even lower than this.

10TB and above "plus" drives run at 7200rpm. They marketed them as "5400rpm class." I just assume Western Digital's marketing team is mostly DEI.

this Card really sucks and it's a total junk. I want to send it back but it cost half the price what i paid for. Here is the thing. Yes, it works do i get the speed No i only get 25mb download and my speed from cox gives me 250MB download. yes I have downloaded the drivers that came with it. I have tested it by removing all my devices that are connected to it. And i still get the same speed regardless on what devices are connected to. save your self and buy a better one this one ant even worth the money. don't for get this is from china and you know how they make items that are trash.

Ugh. You didn't even remove the PCB from the drive. I was hoping to he able to see what mounting type the USB port used.
