    I see this as a user error. If you rack it, the safety is on, the hammer should be stopped from dropping it to half cock, and the booger hook is away from the trigger. Hammer placement is on the user if a a round in battery.

    I don't know enough about it to say if that is an issue! Why would you rack it if it was locked and loaded?

    • @gunz_guntaku
      @gunz_guntaku 4 місяці тому

      It's a safety issue. A safety being operated independent of the user is always an issue. If for instance the slide was racked not enough to where the hammer could fall it could cause an inadvertent discharge independent of trigger pull.

    Made a better frame just buying stuff from Amazon. 5 pack of cheap plastic frames, screw two together, glue an LED strip to the back frame (edge of the front frame diffuses the light), put some foam in the corners to keep the art flush and you're done! All in all it cost $15 in materials for each frame (made 2 with what I had)

    I would think thats how you would want it to operate. Racking the slide is deliberate and shows you intend to fire. It releases the safety in case youre in a high stress situation, or something, and you forget. Me personally... I wouldn't think its broken. EDIT: I wrote this b4 reading other comments and it seems many of us generally agree

    Man I don’t see nothing wrong with your gun. All I see is your gun is the coolest your gun is a beautiful thing it works on safety but if you rocked it and charge it the safety come off, so just put the safety back on again why would you want to put the gunsafety if you didn’t even put one in it

    • @gunz_guntaku
      @gunz_guntaku 6 місяців тому

      You could do that but it's still not designed that way. As they took my gun in and gave me another that doesn't do that.

  • @eddiecambo8163
    @eddiecambo8163 6 місяців тому

    Why is that a problem? Only if you make one! If you’re cocked and locked, why would you rack it again? What about press checking does the safety disengage?

    • @gunz_guntaku
      @gunz_guntaku 6 місяців тому

      The safety was not functioning as designed. Therefore if there's an inadvertent discharge with weapon and it hurts someone. YOU are liable for that damage knowing that the gun is faulty. This could cause a hammer fall situation where if you do not slide the gun back all the way the hammer could fall and discharge the weapon. So yes it's unlikely that would happen but the possibility is there...therefore gun needed repair. And it got it.

    That is not a flaw. It's actually genius. If you need to rack the slide on safety it will do that and if you need to rack the slide you should be needing to shoot.

    • @gunz_guntaku
      @gunz_guntaku 6 місяців тому

      I had to return the gun. That is a design flaw and could cause an inadvertent hammer fall and cause the gun to go off while holstered. This is not genius or apart of the design.

    • @deenell9039
      @deenell9039 6 місяців тому

      @@gunz_guntaku Well, it's not an issue either way because why would you need to rack the slide if you keep one in the hole? Also, if you need the safety off to rack the slide then, wtf?

    • @deenell9039
      @deenell9039 6 місяців тому

      @@gunz_guntaku I concede that the gun may be faulty and not functioning in code. But, I still call it genius because there are people who don't carry with one in the hole. Imagine a dumbass who keeps their chamber empty and on safe. They have to do too much to get off a shot. That's the reason for my comment. If you keep one in the hole, it's a non-factor. The hammer cocks back every time you bring the slide to the rear regardless. The safety is off when that happens.

  • @JohnChappell-j9y
    @JohnChappell-j9y 6 місяців тому

    Why would you ever need to rack the slide if the safety is on? Assuming the only reason you’d have the safety on is because a round is loaded in the chamber and holstered.

    Not a criticism, but if you pay for an Eames chair you will never give it a bad or unbiased review. At that price, you are committed to the level of quality it affords and nothing else will do. For the rest of us, who just want and like the look, the replicas will be more than we wanted at a more sensible price.

    Listen, firstly I wanna say thanks and then I want to help contribute to this. My setup at one point had close to 90 cables in, including HDMI splitters and audio splitters.. it didn't occur to me to use an XLR splitter. Instead I struggled through with other mics, mics at bad distances on wide open noise gates and playing with one headphone off so I could hear the person next to me talking. Other solutions like mic monitoring to the headset and other mics created speech jamming issues, sync issues between camera and person talking ect ect, the real solution beyond this is a proper podcast setup but that's expensive and given the cost of this fix its a no brainer. What I wanted was to be able to hear the game and both mics in my headset and thus hear the person next to me, this fixes that perfectly. We use Arctis 7 headsets so they'll get the same expierence, it's also why I couldn't monitor a wireless headset because the delay was enough to create speech jamming on the person talking because even though I'd hear them, they'd hear what I hear and that's themself. Any audio quality issues are likely because you're using the same voice into two mics saying the same words at the same frequency and at the same time creating an overlap/interferance that just won't be there in normal circumstances or you play with an identical twin.. with my testing it's not noticeable beyond it maybe holding a little more bass. Unless your mic really draws heavy amounts of power and the device you're using can't handle it, you shouldnt see any noticeable resistance based volume dipping like you would splitting an AUX audio cable to multiple sources for example. Though I don't know how that effects phantom powered devices. Yes the EQ won't be setup perfectly for the other person but if it's set up well for yourself it'll be fine for the other person, it won't be noticeable unless you listen to that other person on their own setup a lot and even then it'll just seem like a different EQ, maybe it won't truly flatter that persons voice for the best it can be but it'll be better than some of the mics you'll hear in a MW2 lobby. You might also be able to setup a profile specifically to meet in the middle or a flatter profile anyway. My setup involves a GOXLR, game and stream rig and two Behringer XM8500's using one splitter into two Arctis 7 wireless headsets, using a usb a to 3.5mm splitter. Wanna get all the keywords in so if anyone is doing some searching they'll find it :) Once again, thanks for the tip it's really helped and I can delete loads of sources off my OBS for audio now!
