Passed while bowhunting. Rifle hunters "don't shoot"!!!

Passed on this smaller 7 pointer yesterday. Sadly, many rifle "so-called" hunters will shoot at him on opening morning.

Chicken of the Woods and Hen of the Woods
Их нельзя трогать
So adorable!😂
What part of the country are you in?
I live in Utah where we don’t have those lovely mushrooms especially Hen of the woods. I would love to connect and buy a 20 pound load of hens from you.
Man I could see that chicken at the 2 second mark what a find!
Can we grow the hen of the to our garden?
real name is GIROLLES
They’re so cute
Great Find
Awww she is cute is she okay?
Poor baby
gorgeous mushrooms. hopefully i can find some of these in the next year or two
I liked your videos hope you keep them coming
Great video by the way I wished you did more
Aww is she okay ❤
Wish i had one mushroom off it. I cant find them any where around me. They log everything.
These grow on my tree in my backyard
Beautiful finding
Nice find.
Im shocked to see you pull them with the root....how do you get a harvest next year doing this??
Even more shocking is that I've been picking from the same spot for a decade. Uprooting them and breaking the mycelium doesn't hinder their regeneration. This is a myth. :)
The mycelium is under the ground. He's just picking the fruit
I wanna live in your woods!
Thanks for the video! I actually found about 5 of these today in mid September in Missouri and wasn't sure if they were the golden chanterelles since none of them were over 3 inches tall
WOW!! Gorgeous haul. What do you do with a mother lode like that? Dry out? Freeze?
You know what they call bats, right? Chicken of The Cave.
This is Marathon County. All those areas are great so just keep looking
how central im near eau claire, ladysmith, medford is this some were close to you cause i can never find shit, and im ALWAYS looking please help, any advice would be great.thanks
What state are you in?
Nice! Thanks for the encouragement.
What trees do you typically find these under? I assume conifers, but any specific types?
DanielJZ hemlock
That's interesting, I've heard others say hemlock as well as white pine and spruce. Apparently even some hardwoods as well such as oak.
My dad loves them
Omg she's spool cute
Nice Haul!!
Pussy I get 15 pounds in one spot Picking for 1 hour
I just freaked out because mine had tons of bugs in them!!! YUCK
Love Freedom gotta wash them with bugs or no bugs and it it's been eaten off of by buys then it's probably not good enough for harvest but it's always best to clean them with or without buys
Bugs my bad
you just pulled them out with root - sacrilege
good haul in small area!!!
what is best time to start hunting them in v.a
what state?
Wisconsin
They mainly grow in Wisconsin i have oak trees in my back yard they are Covered in hens!
Check out my channel for great mushroom vids
what state are you in? I think here in Illinois the chicken of the woods would come a month or so before the hen of the woods they say...that's cool you have so many in that small area!
Wisconsin
I'm still finding them.. got a few pounds today.
Very well done. We trout fishermen find these growing by the streams, more in the valley than by the water. I learned alot in this vid. I missed how you prepare them yourself. Take us (camera) with on your stream walks. I bet they would also look nice. TY
How can you tell between those and JackOLantern mushrooms? Do Jackolanterns always have yellow flesh?
Man look at that aluminum uptake in that last tree in the sticks there from those damn chemtrails, just look at you redwoods around your town and notice the what appears to be white climbing up the trunk, well that's aluminum that has fallen from the sky hit the soil sense 96 and before in some places and that you can have tested for around 30 dollars, that being the bark if you don't believe this, so I wonder what the content of aluminum is in that chicken of the woods?
Damn! Chicken of the Woods motherload! Do these grow in Nebraska?
Good video! Useful information, decent camera work. Thanks for sharing. This is one of my favorite mushrooms and seem to be more plentiful here then most of the videos I have seen. The ones I find are typically larger too. Lucky me :) Try the trumpet in an omelet with smoked haddock.
Did you grow this intentionally?
No he did not
I was on a scenic train ride in Maryland, looked out the window and I swear I saw a chicken of the wood the size of a 55gal drum.
Check it out.
