Southern Norway's largest limestone cave | 25-meter free climb
This is southern Norway's largest limestone cave. It has been well known historically but now only by locals. Located about 50 meters above the fjord, and its name derives from the word for limestone. The cave is just over 100 meters long, with a spacious interior (at times). It was featured prominently in old Norwegian geographical records and natural history books from the 1700s. Explorer Hans Strøm documented it, emphasizing its significant natural beauty. Although it was a well-known attraction in earlier times, it has since faded from memory and is no longer as celebrated or visited.
!OBS!

Caving communities around the world have recognized the following rules for gentle movement in caves:
1. Take nothing - only photos.
2. Leave nothing.
3. Do not kill anything - just time.
4. Do not cave alone (someone waited for me outside).

Exploring tight Norwegian cave | LARGE rappel with waterfall
With @konghalvor 🎥 More is to come. Please consider subscribing. Limestone caves with meandering walls were visited in early May. In total, this cave is about 400 meters long, but the other half is best accessed from the other end due to a tight passage (for another video!). The large 20 meter hole ends in a sump, but the river continues into another cave, which I have visited - take a look at ...

The Ulriksdal mines / Ulriksdal gruve / Ulriksdal gruver is an old mine just outside the Norwegian city of Trondheim. Mining operations were started in 1670, and the last attempt was between 1916 and 1918. In the older times, they extracted copper and, in newer times, pyrite. These are the older parts of the mine. You can find a (more action-packed) video of the newer parts in part 1: ua-cam.co...

Norwegian forrest river cave | Late-summer cave expedition | Nedre Ramsåsgrotta
More is to come. Please consider subscribing. Small cave (Nedre Ramsåsgrotta) visited in late summer. I did not cave alone (which you should not do) - someone waited for me outside. It was quite late, I was wet and tired, and I had already hiked for three hours, so I did not get a chance to see the end (there should be another opening). It is a short video, but I was inside for about an hour. C...
This cave (Jutulstuggu) is found just outside of Trondheim. Jutulstuggu is nestled halfway up a hillside and has been visited just a few times earlier. The cave is a "crack cave" and surprises with its intricate and sizable dimensions. Denne grotten (Jutulstuggu) ligger like utenfor Trondheim, Trøndelag.
Yoo im from norway and i was wondering if u were in my area, if u are can i join on on a cave?
Great cave! Interesting that it starts by the sea and goes upwards.
Very nice cave. And beautiful surroundings! ✨✨
Take a look at my last video, too, featuring a meandering cave and a 20-meter rappel. ua-cam.com/video/8HbS_5vTZic/v-deo.html
Looks nice and Cold 😊

See the cave behind the wall in the deep pit: ua-cam.com/video/iTruaDFTUGY/v-deo.html I am just getting started with videos, so any engagement and subscriptions are greatly appreciated ✨
I have no desire to do this, but I love watching people caving
Glad to help!
Cool video. I wish there were caves and mines near me I could explore.
Keep looking, I'm sure you will find some. And be safe! Do not do it alone.
Beautiful countryside. Im glad I dont have to deal with the ice and cold like you do but it does make compelling video
Thanks! It will most likely disappear in a couple of weeks, so we will head back then and do some other caves in the area. Definitely better without it, as it did get a bit cold.
Interesting mine, and nice video. Looking forward to more 😊
Thanks! It will be a bit slow during the winter, but expect quite a bit when the spring/summer arrives!
Make sure to watch the a bit more action-packed part 1: ua-cam.com/video/K3rELUddQhQ/v-deo.html
Nice Video
Thanks! ✨
Cool video! Love me some caving :D
Many thanks!
This is awesome. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!
Thank you!

Part two will be dropping in about two weeks. In the meantime: subscribe 🤩 Check out my most recent cave video too: ua-cam.com/video/iTruaDFTUGY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=SubterraneanNordics
That looks like it was a nice tight squeeze. Ascending must be an absolute nightmare when you're already tired.
Thankfully it was only 5-6 meters, otherwise I would not have gone down 😊
What's your heart-rate like when you're doing this?
This one was quite calming, actually. I found myself dangling from the rope for a couple of minutes, just listening to the water droplets fall from the ceiling.
New video published: ua-cam.com/video/iTruaDFTUGY/v-deo.htmlsi=_Mb1MF3N-nWX_Aux
I will never do this myself, but thanks for sharing! Will follow.
Thanks, more is to come. The winter is closing in, though, so it may be some time until I can head back to this specific one.
Cool video! Subscribed, hope to see more soon :)
Thanks!
This video is fantastic.
Cool, where in Norway is this ?
For preservation purposes, cave locations are not disclosed
Awesome video. Keep em coming!

BARS
Ngl busssjafør do be spitting some fire.
He kinda rå at the rap 😎
Trykk på stop knappen
Ahahahahaha jeg dør!!!
I admire the guy for his enthusiasm
Should of rang the bell. Would loved to see his reaction when released he wasnt alone.
And then you pressed the stop button, he got a red blinking light signaling someone wants to get out next stop, he realizes that he was not alone, he freaks out and takes you as an hostage. This video was the last one you took before being brutally murdered by the bus driver, little did he know you already started to upload it to UA-cam and any good Redditer could easily find out which bus, which road, which time, which driver it is, and now this bus driver is arrested for being a smooth criminal.

I'm glad I was high for this.
