I've been blessed by the local motorcycle shops to test ride their motorcycles so I can present them to you. I'll ride anything at least once if given the opportunity even though I am a Harley guy. Also, I'm a firm believer that if you are on 2 wheels you deserve respect. Doesn't matter what you ride just as long as you are riding that is very cool.

I've been riding since the middle of February 2024. This is very unusual in Wisconsin. I like to make it official by brapping my pipes in the WI Highway 93 Tunnel in Eau Claire, WI.

How tall are you can you flat foot it
Very nice ride
07 Flhrci owner.. What a joy. :)
A 600cc is not a powerful bike? Lmao how many cc would you american consider powerful then?
Beautiful bike, I can tell that you really liked riding it. I sat on one of these with a 2 up reduced reach seat and it even fit me. I'm 5'2" with a 30in inseam. This is the only big twin that I've ever wanted. I ride a sportster and I adore it.
I'm 56 cycles and just bought one.... 6'0" 170lbs Got a handle bar riser... it's worth every penny. 😅
Here you don't find a 3 yr old used one for this price!!!
Just got a 2016 fb lo after 20 years on a hammer 1275 sportster and have no issue leaning into corners. Not riding it like a Ducati of course but there’s plenty of lean there before scraping the boards. People will say a lot of things. Who cares. They’re not paying for your ride. Love mine looks like you love yours too. - Xena
What does a 131 upgrade to a 114 cost roughly?
I own a 2024 Road Glide 3. On the outside my trike look great, but on the inside it is as sorry and plain as they come. Harley uses that piece of shit radio: Boom Box GTS, and conveniently enough every option is turned off. Here a fun fact, you can pair your phone but you damn well cannot pair you headset, even if its a Harley Davidson Headset because this piece of shit doesn't come with a WHIM module. Remember what I said, everything is turned off, its turned off so that you have to bring you trike to a Harley Dealership so they can flash the Radio, so you can do what you should have been able to do all along. Oh yeah they do this so the Dealership can charge you a HD (Hundred Dollars). There is nothing on my trike that is like an actual 2 wheel Road Glide other than the shape of the fairing, and this pig only comes with a stinking 114 ci engine where as it's two wheeled version has a 117 ci engine. The trike ways 200 lbs more and they give the fucking thing less power and torque. What Harley should do is mix the Tri-Glide and Road Glide together and make a Tri-Road Glide. Use the finders, front end and loose the stupid Road Glide trunk and replace it a Tri-Glide trunk & tour pack.
Nut to butt is funny
I hav a 2020 trike and just got back from the tail of the Dragon and i can say i had a blast. You can ride it aggressively with a little practice and keep up with most anyone on two wheels.
I also own a 2019 ultra limited and like the trike better.
I have a 2022 FLHTK and have to say. I do enjoy it. It is not only my daily driver but also my long distance riding. Has a lot of luxery items that I user to think were stupid but now I love. I do know in the furure I will need to downsize (because of my age). The entertainment system (boom system) is not as good as the Indian system. But still works well. I can keep mine up with no feet down at 4 mph. 3mph short distance. All bikes are underpowered. Thats why we modify. 👍🏻
Love Mine ❤️
I have a 2022 FLHTK. I always start in neutral. Seems to be easier on the starter. Great bike with a good amount of storage. Really nice on long rides. I also plug in a small heater in the outlet in the tourpack to keep food warm. 😂
I have the same bike. I bought a 2024 and quite honestly wasn't impressed. This bike is an absolute joy to ride. Glad I went back to the 23.
I always heard keep the dirty side down 🤟
I live in the UK. I have been looking for a bike to replace my ZZR1400 (ZX14-R in the USA) and for the last few weeks have been visiting numerous bike shops looking for inspiration on what to get next. Two days ago I happened upon a dealer who had a Honda Fury for sale. I was smitten. Today (September 10th 2024) I bought it. I couldn't care less how much horsepower it has, couldn't care less how few miles it does to a tank of gas, and I couldn't care less that I paid the equivalent of $11,760. Things of such beauty are priceless.
Hey man get off my bike.!!!!!
First strike on your wallet, edition.
@6:07 Looking for that missing 5th gear? My biggest gripe about my VLX was the gearing.
I'm in my mid 20s I like the trikes
I’m on my 3rd 1100 shadow (1988,2004,2007 about 55,00 miles) personally I don’t want abs I’m in total control of my bike. Love them ride without working on them.
Saw this bike in Sturgis last week. Very cool.
Jesus Christ! What a wasted review. How bout you bitch about the steering a few more times?
When you see the ladies flagging you down for a ride you'll give it a 10
Viclas are the way to go partner!
If you threw on the detachable windshield and the bags it’ll be an ok weekender.
What windshield do you have? 14 or 18 inch?
Beautiful bike 🏍️ , Beautiful background story on your good friend Randy. Glad to hear 👂 his son got one of his bikes. And glad to hear & see that you got to ride it. I personally just bought a brand new Honda Fury & love it.
I have a 2007 shadow 600. Great starter bike but for one exception. It's got a 4 speed. That means it's SHOCKINGLY BAD on the highway. You're a hazard who can't get out of his own way and when you do, you're maxing it out. I think the engineer who decided on the 4 speed costed honda A LOT OF MONEY and a few lives along the way. I think he should be drummed out of the industry and black-balled from motorcycle design. There is no good reason to hold out on a 5 speed. Heck the 4 is probably more expensive. Nobody wants one. You are going to need at least a 40 tooth rear sprocket to get up to 75 or 80. If it can't get on the highway, what are you doing selling it in America and calling it street legal? Most driving is on freeways.
It can easily handle the highway. What are you talking about.
Can I join? I am asking because I don’t have a motorcycle, but I am really interested in it!
We just bought a 2017 Ultra Limited, great bikes!! Fellow Wisconsin rider here! 👍🍻
You can have any colour you want...as long as it's black or white. That made me laugh
Great bike but too low. Definitely not for canyons…
Probably way too late on this but how about Black Satin?
I live in East Troy Wisconsin. I bought a 2023 Pursuit Dark Horse Premium from Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee. Let me know if you ever wanna meet up!
We got a 23 Freewheeler(Vivid Black) last year, Just before the RG3’s came out. You’re correct on the customization part, and all it takes is money LOL. We’ve updated all lights to LED’s (Custom Dynamics) along with their Magic strobe for brake lights. A windshield was what I also wanted. Just put on a new Mustang seat, and there’s other things we want to do but we can wait for those. I was away from 2 wheels since the early 90’s and it was actually my wife that helped me make up my mind(bad knees, and back at 72 changed my mind) on the trike. We love it, and as the steering goes there’s no problems at all. As for curves I never outride my capabilities, or the trikes. Great video, and thanks for bringing more trikes to the fore.
When a reviewer says I don’t research the bike before making the video I head elsewhere.
Man oh man.. could hear the engine better with the clutch level out and giving it fuel... maybe even down shift give it a try ? Interesting concept... mt-07 was easier to drive ? A little. What does that mean I wonder what he meant. That being said out of his element. I dont have any videos out and it was nice to get a fresh set of eyes since I work at a cf dealer and I'm going to get a left over for a smoking deal so I was interested in what he would think. What every one thinks really. Some people can't see past the cf ... so their feed back is useless. But this is decent.
You say indian is owned by Polaris like its a bad thing..... it's one of the best things that ever happened to the brand.
No, some people say that. I think they do a great job, cheers!
Nice video Codger!!
Thank You
Glad to see you on an Indian!!!!
They are good bikes
I just bought one like it 2012, and I love the ride on it, it does have alot of features, I just haven't figured out the side saddle bags, the back trunk holds it from opening, I haven't read manual yet, and also I wish it was able to remove the back trunk in and off easily, but I love the bike to just cruise, I have a sportster to but I like the comfort of bike for cruising a little more
Nice review, I have the same bike and the same color!
I’m not a fan of the cholo. I think it’s one of the most ridiculous looking styles I’ve ever seen in the custom bike building community. I can’t wait until this style fades out just like the Orange County Chopper styles did.
Just because You don't like it, doesn't mean it has to disappear.
@@ekimandersom4478 it’s just another stupid flavor of the month like Orange County Choppers! It will be out of style soon enough! Real bikers don’t ride that silly stuff anyway.
@@asphaltcowboy6749 OCC is out of style because they were crap. Cholo is just a style of modification, easy to bring back to stock.
@@ekimandersom4478 what style? What modification? It’s just a bunch of chinese chrome bolt on parts! It doesn’t matter, cholo style is crap too. You couldn’t ride those clown bikes on a road trip. Just useless!
Hey, I'm looking at reviving my 04 shadow - just picked it up. Any particular issues you ran into?
Keep the carb clean. Run it every day or other day. Check the carb boots, rubber hardens over time
A fat boy is what a Harley looks like for most people
Recently bought 23 nightster..a new seat and moving handlebars forward made a world of difference...can ride all day on it now...love it !!!
I own number 47. Guy i bought it from customed it somewhat. So im not stock i love owning a 91 Sturgis. Paid to much. But its a experiment in love.
