One two three four five six sev.......is easy....have you tried 7/8 with a triplet feel...it is real good......great video

11/8 is great...so many good variations and ways to count...it becomes very interesting if you count it as triplets as well....one and a two and a three and a four and........put the snare on two and four.......then try differant snare hits..great video

A good example of an 11/8 song is actually "Whipping Post" by The Allman Brothers Band, but it takes it more with a 3+3+3+2 approach during the breaks and intro instead of a 4+4+3.
