Hi Janet! I'm a little behind on flosstubes. I've been busy with the Magazine Monthly Challenge (January) and just did half of that WIP parade. Whew! I have Blue Rhapsody. I'm stitching mine in periwinkle colors. The Crazy Cross Stitch Lady, Carla, is stitching it in beautiful purples. Love seeing all the things! Such a beautiful story about the toolbox. Divine Intervention, my dear. It happened to me with my dad's passing. So many things ♡ My retirement date from TSA was July 31st (another divine intervention for me). Thank you, Janet. You are a blessing and are so blessed. Take care 🌷

❤❤❤ I stitched Lavender Farm from Cuore e Batticuore! It was really fun and still needs to be FFOd... I have the 2025 Collector's Heart coming! I'm going to stick with the color scheme, but pull from colour and cotton stash.

Have a wonderful and fun-filled vacation with the hubby! Missed seeing the grandkids smiling faces, next time, lol. I do have a question: Your temperature stitching. I don't know how that is set up with your stitching pieces? I have seen trees and other stitcheries that you do a color for each leaf or doo-dad. All of your little hints about keeping your brain and body active really work. I am 81 (how did that happen??) and feel great. 🌵🌵Sending you warm hugs from sunny Arizona.

Janet I just love your projects and how organized you are with your delicated stitching. I have also heard that keeping your brain active is important. I love to read and usually have a couple books going at the same time. I enjoy crossword puzzles, sudoku and seek and fine word games. I try and learn something new every month (a new stitch or craft). Life is life and we all need to work on mental and physical health so we can keep up with our grandchildren.

That Lord's Supper looks easier to stitch than doing the 1000 piece jigsaw! More colors in the pattern. Gosh, we need a mop too! My coworker came back from paternity leave. His baby is now going to grandparents for worktime childcare. The grandparents had been out of town for Christmas, but baby's face just lit up when they came back.

Hey Janet….I need to motivate myself into walking like I have before! I have been retired for 12 years and have put on 20 pounds. This makes me so mad at myself, but my problem is SNACKING. Now, the bird series is so cute and I never have heard of a house by Nora, but I do have some birds by her that I want to stitch! Awesome stitching as usual! In regard to the 'brain fog" and the doctor recommendation to solve puzzles and read a "real" book - check out the "Murdle" books. They basically give you a short story and a summary of characters/background, then you have to solve the whodunit via a logic puzzle. Each one is short and sweet. Currently working my way through the first volume, if you'd like to check it out first, let me know and I'll bring it to the next sew day. Have an amazing day!

Hey Janet! Thanks for featuring my Last Supper piece. That one about killed me. Ha! I started it in 2003 and finished in October 2024. So it took me 21 years! 😮. But I am so glad it is done.
