Why EVERYBODY is Flocking to this Small Texas TOWN!
In the heart of North Texas, a small town is rapidly becoming the fastest-growing place not only in Texas, but in the entire country. Celina’s population surged by over 19% last year alone-almost forty times the national growth rate! How did a once-quiet rural town in Texas become the fastest-growing place in America? And could Celina be the blueprint for the future of American suburbs?

Why do so few Americans live in West Virginia compared to its ea...

California and Texas stand tall as America’s most populous states. Both are giants in geography and economy, with a shared history dating back to their time as Mexican territories. They may seem like siblings with their booming economies, diverse cultures, and sprawling landscapes, yet California outpaces Texas in population despite it being larger in landmass. Why does Texas have fewer people ...

At first glance, New Jersey and New York seem like twin states-neighbors with a shared history, similar climates, and close economic ties. New York is packed with millions, while New Jersey’s population is a fraction of that. Why the huge difference? How did these two neighboring states end up with such contrasting populations? Why is the Empire State in Manhattan and it wasn’t built in Jersey ...

Arizona and California are two states that share a border in the arid Southwest, yet their stories couldn’t be more different. Why Strong Hurricanes will keep hitting Florida
Переглядів 39Місяць тому
What started as a small, tightly wound hurricane grew into a sprawling monster that intensified at one of the fastest rates in recorded history. It seems like hurricanes like Milton are not just more frequent-they're getting stronger. Why is that? And what does the future hold for Florida?
Why so Few Americans live in Staten Island?

Every American city is unique, but New York City stands in a league of its own. Among its five famous boroughs-Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island-one stands apart in ways you might not expect: Staten Island. Despite being part of America's most populous city, Staten Island is home to less than 500,000 people, making it the least populated borough. That brings the question...
Why so Few Americans Live in American Samoa?

Imagine a paradise that stretches across 76 square miles, slightly larger than Washington, D.C., surrounded by the pristine waters of the South Pacific. Anybody would like to live here in American Samoa, an American territory far from the mainland, yet it's home to about 45’000 people. That means, for every square mile, there are just about 600 people - a stark contrast to the densely packed ur...

I had considered moving to Frisco and buying a house back around 2010. I wish I had. The property value in that area has boomed in the past 15 years. I grew up in Dallas (near Mesquite) in the 80s and there wasn’t much of anything past Plano in those days. My mother moved out to Plano in the 90s to get away from the big city, but the big city followed her there. 😂

Comparing these two states is really weird to me. Sure, their next to each other on the map, but how similar are they really? Kansas is a flat and dry state in the plains, with no major rivers for transportation. Meanwhile, Missouri is home to both the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, and has a lot more forested areas, perfect for settlement.

When I drove Semi OTR, I always avoided Kansas as most of its highways have toll roads. I do imagine this keeps there highway system lasting longer if they get significantly less Semi traffic.

My name is Rob Charpentier, age 76, and I'm a frequent commenter on UA-cam vids. I've lived in both Texas (during my U.S. Army days when I trained at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio and now I'[ved in Northern California for the past 17 years after living in Hawaii for 37 years prior to that. My impression of Texas is "severely cold in the winter and burning hot in the summer and early fall", and thus it was an overall "negative" impression I had of the state. In regard to California, and especially NorCal. It is a wonderful place with mid winters and summers that are rarely super hot! StocktonRob

The question posed is rather ridiculous. California is a coastal state with international ports for one thing, and that in itself should be enough. Too many other reasons to go in to. Problem is a lot of Californians are moving to Arizona, western Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, and driving up the cost of housing and bringing their failed politics with them. Southern CA is a pit unless you have large financial resources.

El Paso is in a different time zone compared to the rest of Texas as it serves as the major hub for Southern New Mexico, where New Mexico is in Mountain Time. El Paso is also home to one of the largest military installations in the country, Fort Bliss, where it also contributes as the city’s largest employer. El Paso is much closer to Phoenix and Albuquerque than it is to every major city in Texas, and is closer to San Diego and Denver than it is to Houston. Historically, El Paso has been part of New Mexico when until Texas annexed all the land east of the Rio Grande from Mexico once it joined the United States, and the culture of the city partially reflects on that side of history pretty well along with it’s Mexican culture from across the border and its sister city, Ciudad Juárez. As a native El Pasoan, I also noticed that New Mexicans know more about El Paso than Texans outside of El Paso do. Some Texans don’t know about El Paso’s existence within its borders which I find very interesting and sad.

Careful, your anti-republic of Texas bias is showing. It just kills you that Texas for nine years was it’s own nation. Now it is just one of the 50 subservient, socialist dictatorial districts of the united state of America
