Easier way to jack up your car
Have a hard time jacking up your car with your scissor jack ? Try using a 15/16 socket with a ratchet or impact driver.

Oh man! I've been doing it wrong for so long...Thank You!
Perfect video. Quick simple and easy to remember 👌 😎😎😎
Yeah putting plastic back took longer than the whole install
What the knee pads for?
so stock is 6x8"?
Lazy
Wait till you get to 70 . You will probably use a compressor.
Vay be
Thank you 🙏 this was very helpful

Thank you ❤
Would this work for a 2014 Toyota Camry?
As a person who has done wiring installs through the firewall I see couple things that don't look right number one is the wire is up against a hose which when the engine is running will cause tugging disturbing the wire eventually causing other issues tearing the rubber grommet the second thing is having no insulation around the wire which in no time the wire coating will crack from the heat exposing the wire for potential electric fire to happen.
Thank you!
What is in MM?
A bit late, but 23.8 mm. Try a 24mm socket. Provided that your jack is identical to the one in the video, of course.
Also works on a 2018, helped me on removing old window tint and installing new one
You forgot to take the engine out to
Great video. I guess it's cool if it's something you rarely have to do, because impact tools aren't meant for that kind of continuous stress
Wrong
Only a stupid tool disconnects the battery for this.
For me its better to drill a hole in the firewall and put a high temp quality sealant around the hole after wiring
Looks like the impact ran out of torque
Probably not charged fullly
So the scissor jack has lifting car?
DUH !!! What else a Bulldozer?
nice job ... i used your video as a reference for applying sound insulation on the rear speakers.
Which speakers did you buy? It seems pretty hard to figure out what speaker goes to what.
Way more complicated than other videos why remove weather stripping around the door?!
When you're 50 and over: It's easier and faster, meaning, your butt and back muscles (legs too) will thank you the next day. I did it manually this week (only one tire change), and it took me 2 days to fully recoup (very stiff muscles, missed work). So CAA puts on the spare tire with a cordless drill, but the next day I did it all manually,... "never again".
did you unplug the battery because of the side curtain airbags?
Wow I love cars theyre so fun to work with. Gotta remove the whole fucking seat to replace a speaker
if you own a Honda the Scissor Jack works without any extra nut: ua-cam.com/video/RPBnx0w_TPs/v-deo.html !
That's what I'm talking about !!!
Its a bad bad bad video don't make videos my friend
You don't know nothing my friend take to radio shop your videos is not making a sesnse
This looks risky to me. You run the risk of damaging the wiring harness wires if you're not very careful. Plus the firewall metal looks like it's very close to your (unprotected, except by the insulation) wire. I wonder whether over time it will cut into your wire?
....I REALLY LIKE HOW THE KNEE PADS WORK ..NEAT TOUCH!
Must take off the battery first before change ?
Some day they (Top Engineers ) will figure out, just take the speakers from the trunk ( snap on - off type ) instead of removing all those panels. 🤪
It's because if it was that easy to take off any old thief could take your speakers in like a minute instead of 10 or 20 minutes. It won't stop a determined thief but it is a deterrent Edit. Same with the head unit
ua-cam.com/video/-M7VQPVYi5c/v-deo.html You can avoid taking everything apart and remove the speakers through the trunk. Just grab the protruding bolts with a pair of vise grips and turn them in. They have room inside between the sheet metal and the parcel shelf cover and once you have the speakers out you can retrieve the blots. Then pry the old speakers out. They bend easy and are going to be thrown out anyways. Then you screw the new speakers underneath the sheet metal like most cars instead of on top like the factory install. Easy peasy and takes about half an hour. No seats or trim to take off.
Where were you a few hours ago?!?!?! 🙄🙄😂
The gentlemans video showing him removing the bolts the wrong way increases the chance of stripping the bolt thread. Correct procedure must be followed to avoid having to spend even more money to fix the thing you broke.
No it doesn't risk stripping the bolt threads. And you don.t need the threads to do it the way I show. You use self tapping screws to install the new speakers. Self tapping screws make their own thread. @@treebear4620
That’s some labor work right there. Well, won’t hurt to give it a go. Might learn something along the way.
Thanks bro
can younfit a 0awg wite in there?
Literally trying to do that now did it work for you back then
Excellent real team video. Other sources show parts close up if you want that. Needed to see the actual procedure especially how much exertion I should be applying without breaking the connection pins.
I’ve got a ton of rattle from the left rear speaker from the plastic I can push on the plastic and the sound will go away. Where do you buy those adhesive sponges?
Don't smoke cigarettes kids. That's why he is out of breath.
Ur pfp tho 🧐
@@dallenzao fair, but it's a blunt, 95% weed with just the wrap being a tobacco leaf.
So why do you need an adapter?
that's for lazys
....YEP... WORKS GOOD TO!
Yes I am just that. 90 % inspiration, 10% muscle.
see the appendage sticking out on the bottom left of the grommet? cut that, slide wire through the hole. boom. toyota knew you wanted to put a amp in your car so they made it easy
Thank you, I’m gonna try it
Wtf...that is a sucky design. Was thinking of helping my friend change his speakers, now I dunno if I want to deal with it...
dang, this is so complicated. Back in my not too long ago days, four clips for the speaker grille and four screws for the speaker. It's a shame cause the speakers suck so bad.
I couldn't figure out how to access that place but I found out there was another one behind the glove box. I just fished a couple of wires (to connect to both sides of the battery) through the existing hole with a wire hanger.
Paul C Elmore Thanks!!!!!!!!!
do i need to uplug battery for this?
I don't see why you would need to, but apparently it'a a recommended precaution any time you're working on a vehicle.
Thanks, I used your video to replace my rear speakers in my 2011 Toyota Corolla . Very helpful.
How long did it take?
Kevin,are you still here ?
