The heat shields resolved my vapor lock and heat soak issues starting the engine when hot. I gained more acceleration and power while shifting from 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears and now able to reach highway speeds much faster. Highly recommend performing this full tune up on your Jeep...

The outer stock lights are 2 wire sockets, but I still managed to get them to multi function as marker lights and turn signals. My only hiccup is that the lights must be on in order for the turn signals to flash...

Lucas Oil Stabilizer reduces engine tick and knock on 190k motor
Переглядів 105 тис.2 роки тому
I’m this video, I use 1 quart of Lucas Oil stabilizer during the oil change to reduce the engine ticks and knocks from this high mileage motor with 190,000 miles. No leaks, just a loud lifter tick and heavy engine knock. The Lucas really made a difference and the car is running a lot smoother with better oil pressure. Don’t be afraid to give it a try, it really works!

I tried using one of these pullers on a front axle shaft bearing, but theres a lip behind it to compensate the diameter of the cv axle, so the tool cant get behind the bearing. No parts store around me has a bearing tool to fit it. I made a puller myself to fit it, hammered my life away on it, and it's still there. No tool i could come up with has worked on it. Heating doesn't even help.

Adding a oil stabilizer reduces your additive package in your oil, the reason for the engine knock is because of a stablizer.

Looks good. I think you should have gotten rid of that rust or at least put some converter on it. With just primer and Raptor, it’ll probably be a problem again at some point. Nice work overall. Edit: Man, I just noticed that you didn’t wear a respirator. Not a good choice. Please protect yourself better. That stuff is very poisonous.
