A year later I'm watching this performance again - and noticing SO much more! The interplay between Derek and Jimmy beginning @6:50 is some of the most impressive examples of live improvisation I've ever witnessed. The way they compliment each other's phrases, almost seeming to complete each other's sentences at times, is simply phenomenal. And I had to look twice towards the end of these magical minutes to check and see - is that Jimmy playing? No, it's Derek sans slide! I've never seen Derek play more Jimmy-like! Stunning! And as I mentioned last year, Butch makes everyone around him sound better. And the dynamics are like waves on the ocean - sometimes soft, sometimes tsunami-like, breaking, retreating, and returning. Perfect!

Saw it live at Deer creek!Center back pavilion with my brother who has since passed away in January of 2009.The three drummers Solo was fifteen minutes long as I raised my hands in Time at the end! Awesome concert!

I was always disappointed that we never got to hear Duane play this tune. I think it would have become one of the Allmans trademark extended jams, but then I wonder if Dicky would have written it if fate hadn't intervened. RIP Duane, Gregg, Dicky, Berry, & Butch & wishing a long life & many thanks to Jaimo.

Jimmy is one of the greatest guitar players of all time, the way he uses the half whole scale, is unique, killer technique to, never plays a cliche or a fluffed note, sensational sensational!

There's so much phenomenal guitar-playing here that Gregg's organ solo at the beginning is overlooked. Gregg is a fantastic organist and his B3 style really adds so much to the huge sound of the ABB over the years!

People May Forget What A Vocalist, Warren Can Be!!(With The Right Song And Quality Acoustic/ Set-up , Of Course) The Linchpin, For Over 25, Yrs, With The Allman's!! The Bridge/ Glue Holdin' It Together, Between The Dickie BETTS Era & The DEREK TRUCKS ERA!! ALL While ,Doin' Gov't Mule Since'95 , Along With A Myriad Of Other Side Projects.. ( Phil Lesh,etc)😮
