Greedy little cobra snake this morning getting her mice

Yesterday she was giving me the piss off attitude and clearly did not want any food. But now this morning she’s waiting in her water bowl for me to come feed her. What a spoiled snake. How do they even survive in the wild ? 🤦🏼♀️😂 #petsnake #falsewatercobra #petcobra #reptiles #snakefeeding

Does he live in that drawer?
@@evilsmaster8876 yes. It is a snake rack. I have tried everything with this guy through the past ten years and have learned a lot! This is how ball pythons are happiest. They do not like a lot of space or light as they naturally live underground
@@KiddsKritters In my experience ball pythons also can and will use climbing opportunities provided. In a small rack like that, sure they can be there fine, but there isn't much in the way of enrichment for the snake to do. Mine occasionally explores on a hammock as one of the things in her enclosure. Edit: Also thought I'd add according to the San Diego Zoo, most pythons seek shelter in tree branches or hollows, near fallen logs, in rocky outcrops, or mammal burrows. Most of those are not necessarily underground.
Yes, I've seen them climb some. Like I said, I’ve had this one in everything through the years and tubs or racks are what all of mine eat and shed the best in. I take them out pretty regularly.
Absolutely beautiful!
I am very happy with her!

They are just messy little souls but I love them 😍
You don't deserve these loving ferrets. And they don't deserve you!
Hey dude. Chill please. It's responsible to put ferrets in a cage for some time of the day because nothing is 100% ferret proof. They are sharing habitable space with humans and need to be supervised. Not entirely, but for their safety it's our responsibility to be availible for them when they are out. I have 2 fur-babies myself and I keep them in my room with puppy pads and all the food/water they need and toys. I get it. I'm not at all going to say that having them in a cage DOESN'T make me feel bad. But it's the responsible thing to do when you're incapable of supervision. If you have any problem in that statement you're just a ferret gatekeeper. Trying to hold standards that aren't possible for everyone on everyone.
@@Tess0246yeah jeez like, ferrets are curious lil goobers and get into things. while you're asleep you gotta give them someplace they feel safe and that they won't get into things. if my noodles were out all the time, there would simply be chaos everywhere- all the beanie babies would be missing, sock drawers would become tenement housing, and who could forget the inevitable scaling of every tall surface in the house- not to mention the inside of the dishwasher. they're out all day when i'm there to keep things in order but i'm extremely diligent in rounding up the usual suspects before going out or going to bed. "no cage" is just completely unrealistic of an expectation. i call it their condos instead of their cages, if that helps. and they're full of soft blankets and comfy places to sleep, not the kind of rickety trap of cold, spindly metal that comes to mind with the word "cage".
@@SnepperStepTV I have 5 now and we upgraded to a chicken coop! :D It's their own house and theh love it. They sleep in there or on my bed more than anything and they don't have any fuss when it's time to go back in. They snuggle and sleep in the same 3 places they love but I always find at least 3 in there. That and we have a grass pad in the bottom of it where they potty at (combined with straw and wood shavings like how you see them in pet stores) once the new guys stop pooping in blankets in their nap-zones I'm going to give them plush blankets again. So the bedding right now doubles as a litter.
Put newspapers where the poop. And they hate being caged. How would you like to be caged. If they are that much trouble to toy rehome them. I've rescued ferrets for e0 yrs. And mine are Never caged!
They have plenty of free roaming time. And I do put puppy pads or paper towels down when they are out. Watch their whole story before criticizing. I’m just sharing my experiences.
As one ferret owner to another: I highly advise finding a vet and doing regular checkups. Not only because of where they came from, but ferrets are unfortunately notorious for having many severe health issues. I'm sure you've done some research since, as this video is now 3 months old, but this is probably the biggest thing I'd stress to any new ferret owner. It's certainly going to have a LOT of learning experiences no matter how prepared you feel you are, but so long as you're caring for them the best way you can, they're amazing little guys.
I love this. It needs more recognition
Thank you! 😊

True story lol
ua-cam.com/users/shortsRBWYXMyS9Nc?si=RQGcUh3FrDm2lSZG
I hape an important tip! If you dont have these already, i REALLY recommend buying these puppy pee pads and putting them in the corners of your ferret room so if they do escape they don't poop on he ground:) cuz ferrets like to poop in corners btw.
If I have them out for awhile, I usually put pads or paper towels down in the corners 👍🏻
They work for some ferrets, my ferret pulls them out of the way and just shits where the pad was. So now when I take him out of the cage, he goes straight into the tub and does his business so it's easy for me to clean up. He is litter trained, he's just a little asshole.
This is the best video ive ever watched lol. :D *Subs*
Thank you!
Our 3 ferrets are now eating a freeze dried raw food diet and I swear to GOD that their poops barely smell now 4 weeks later. No kidding. Go figure a good diet can result in healthy poops lol Love your vid and how you rescued them! I rescued 3 a few months ago and they are my whole life now! Enthralled to have them in my life! We are all bonded, the excitement they show when I greet them melts me completely. Like my dog or my cats. Okay, maybe more excited than my cats 😂 P.S. To those wanting ferrets, don’t buy from a pet store. There are so many needing re-homed. That also makes buying the best cage Midwest’s “Ferret Nation Cage”, more tangible as the cost is 3x less per ferret in adoption. Trust me, you don’t want any other cage for them. They must have at least 4-6 hours of free roam time outside the cage. Just a thought for the lovers out there 🥰
Absolutely true!!!
You almost put Samanta "alive"-in a plastic bag and in the freezer?!!............ THIS IS FOR EVERYONE: please, if anyone takes an animal or rescues an animal, please do your research on the type of animal you are taking in, so such horoball mistakes will not happen with the potential to kill the animal by mistake. 💙🙏
Yes. I learned my lesson and still feel horrible. That’s one reason I wanted to share my experiences with others so we can all learn. I knew they slept deep, but had not experienced it before, and she is so small and petit compared to the others.
@@KiddsKritters That may also help: 1. As far as I know, when a small animal dies, his body gets very cold in no time. 2. For ferrets when they are alive and sleeping, it's barely seen, but if you look closely, their chest from the breeding is moving up and down. Also some ferrets snore😅. 3. If the ferret is old and weak, you can always put a little mirror close to their noses; this way, you will be able to see if he is alive and breathing.
@@veraporat2248 thank you for the tips! I saw someone else comment about not being sure their ferret was dead and they dipped their feet in cold water and they woke right up lol
@@KiddsKritters I saw that comment too, but dipping the feet in cold water will stress the ferret and make him feel unsafe in his cage or bed. Where he sleeps and rests, he needs to feel that this is his "safe place" and that nothing will happen to him there, and no one will abruptly wake him up from his deep sleep or harm him. Otherwise, he will always be stressed and will be afraid to truly relax and sleep in peace.
They stink.
Indeed they do 💩😷
They do have a "musk" to em, but so long as you change their litter boxes, clean their cages, and bathe them every few months they're not really too bad. That said though, having 4 of them like this video means dealing with an astronomical amount of poop. Just having 2 felt crazy, I can't imagine doubling it lol
Raw diet is best and no water bottles coz they dehydrate quickly , they need a water bowl if u dont already know
Yes they showed me very quickly that they prefer a bowl
Ugh I need to rescue ferrets :) bottom line I just need ferrets :) I had the growing up and I watch a rescue stream so I know all that goes into it. Videos like these just make me want to do it!!!! Stupid being broke :(
It is expensive having so many animals 🤦♀️, it is the life I choose
If you get ferrets definitely make sure you do some research first, and try to prepare before bringing them home. I HIGHLY recommend the Ferret Nation Cage as shown in this video. It's sturdy, spacious, and it has vertical bars so that they can't climb or bite on the cage and hurt themselves. Find a Vet that is willing to take Ferrets, as they are classified as exotic animals. Ferrets are absolutely loaded with health problems that develop as they age, so regular checkups with a great vet is HIGHLY advised. Also when it comes to vet bills, always be prepared to have an Emergency vet that takes exotics as well. I can't count how many times I've needed to use one because either one of my Ferrets has had their medical episodes ramp out overnight or even on a holiday. It's extraordinarily expensive to keep ferrets, but trust me when I say I don't regret a single penny I've spent on them. They're amazing, they're fun, and they're just as loyal as any cat or dog.
My panda ferret is deaf and it scared me to no other when i couldnt wake him for play time... i put cold water at his feet and he looked at me like i was the crazy one🤣🤣 did a lil research after to learn that panda ferrets remain deaf and lots of ferrets have deep rem sleeps.....love these lil buggers❤❤❤
lol I can just see the facial expression now 😂 that’s great
my panda ferret is also deaf :\\. He lives "free house", without a cage, so it is always a struggle for me to find him to take him on the walk outside or to the vet's appointments.
Mine live in what I call a babysitter. It's pretty much an open kennel with no top. Thankfully they have not figure out how to escape. It's been 3 yrs :) they get 2/ 3-hour house time every day. Basically the living room and dining room privileges. I got rid of my couches and chairs bc they like to burrow in them, and I don't want any mishaps!!!! I love them, they bring me joy, and it's true if they're weren't so stinking cute (all puns intetended) they wouldn't be able to get away with all this mischief ❤❤❤
I just got my first ferret. I found her. Yesterday . Today i went to Petco and got her a hone, and trears
If you found a ferret, it probably got sneaky and snuck out of their home... the owner may be worried sick about their baby being lost. I know I had one sneak outside in the past, and my neighbor knew I had ferrets and returned him home. They are so sneaky, a crack in the window, ac ducts, the door slightly opened they will escape. So if you truly found this ferret, I hope you help find its way home... 🙏❤
@@heatherrockon85 I found out from someone who lived near by that the woman who had him moved away and left all her pets. I can't imagine. But the little girl is so sweet and friendly she must have been loved at one time . Anyway, I'd left a note at a business nearby with my contact info. That's how I found out.
❤❤❤❤ I hope you enjoy your new baby. Furry noodles are really the best❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@heatherrockon85 I already love her :-)
Wow 😮 thanks for saving her! Thats an incredible rescue story
I live with PTSD. I have 6 ferrets. They keep me entertained and as the narrator said, you can't be sad when you're around these little guys who are always happy. I take mine with me when I run errands. Since I have 6, they take turns. My ferrets have their own bedroom. It has a pair of Ferret Nation cages zip tied together, but the doors are always open. In their room they have cat trees, PVC pipe and flexible duct hose. This allows them to run, climb and play. Each day they join me in the living room where I have even more toys. I also sit on the floor and play with them.
Thank you for sharing. Animals have such a positive impact on our mental health 🥰
I have 4 and this breaks my heart
Ferrets hard work and bundles of joy in equal measure, the Jill(female) that you was worried about with the deep sleep is known over here (England) as a dead sleep its believed that its a defence mechanism to deter would be predators that feed on live prey thus making the predator believe its not alive so it leaves it alone, great video 👍
Thank you! Thats very interesting about the dead sleep.
Noodle Cats. You know, just lil rat tubes. Like, just a bunch of excited cobra mice.
😂😂😂
Imahine being asleep and having an escaped ferret getting in your bed and biting down on your leg and taking a chunk out of your flesh and eat it. It happened to me. The agony. So these little babies are not trustworthy. I have a laddie now. Cinnamon Jim the pirate. He is so happy. Now he has a good reason to live without biting down. I wouldn't even consider buying a multi lever bird cage for 100s of pounds. Better to never leave them alone in this place, luv. They need training from early on. My cats they really do not get him. So he has chewed through alot of wire. He is very funny as he laughs and never bites down. He also needs a cuddle upside down cradle. He also has to be aware that my cats are not enjoying his cracker ferret episode. They know that he is a pain in the arse. Oh well....I am exhausted good for you though to rescue them from flee ridden shithole! Now as you said, your place stinks too. Doesn't matter, just get a big sand box. They like a walk in shower to play splashy and honestly then they leg itvinto the bedroom and rubby into the carpet, have a shit and piss in the corners then want to get on the bed to play bouncy flip and bouncy then lie under the wardrobe with their monster feet sticking out. Very cute. Hmm. Very exhausting. And not for normal ppl who would rather watch telly or go to the pub. 😊 xxx Admire your tenacity and caring. You need some you time, as in get someone else to look after them so you can rest and go out to enjoy life. As long as you pay them and for their life insurance..aww.xx
Bless your heart, you absolutely saved and also gave them the best forever home! ❤
They have blessed me with so much joy and happiness. They deserve the best 🥰
