Perm rod set on an old silk press. Hair tutorial
You wash your hair only once a month? Do you wet it during the week, or not at all? Doesn’t your scalp get itchy? I’m just curious! I’ve noticed I can go a week without washing mine (with shampoo/conditioner), but I do feel the need to rinse my hair or submerge my head under the shower. Beautiful hair!!
Yes, I wash my hair once a week, and I wet my hair (sometimes) with spray bottle when I want to moisturize it with conditioner. And it only starts itching when the month is almost up.
Hi there, thanks for your videos, they're easy to follow. Please what brand of dryer do you use to blowdry? Thanks.
It’s Conair dryer brush
AWESOME 💪🏾 😎 🤩
Your hair is evidence of your knowledge of caring for it properly🔥🔥
Thank you ☺️
How long have you been growing your hair?
About 10 years now
Beautiful hair ❤
Thanks!
How do you keep your hair moisturized after blow drying it? My hair gets dry by the end of the week and when I add product it shrinks all the way back up as if I never blow dried it. Please help. Do you put oil? How often?
I fully understand what you mean. I usually twist my hair after blow dry without any moisture (I sometimes spray a small amount of water on my twist if I want a little volume). And when I want to moisturize it a week or so later and don’t want it to shrink, I only use a small amount of the product (conditioner) on my hair without any water and apply oil after. Your hair will feel moisturized and not wet and it will barely shrink.
Wow… your hair is beautiful!!!❤
Thanks!
Beautiful. Is there a reason mini twists are better than braids/plaits? (As long as they are loose at the roots - not tight) ?
Personally, I love them all but prefer mini twist more because braid/ plait don’t look cute to me when loose at the root (since I don’t do tight braids, they loosen up quickly, and can’t keep the style for long)
Beautiful! How many twists do you usually do and how long on average does it take you to twist your hair?
Thank you! I wish I count the twists but I’ve never counted it before and it takes on an average of 3-5 hours depending on how big or small the twists are.
Beautiful! How many twists do you typically do?
I have no idea because I don’t count them.
Lovely twist!! 😉 What products are you putting in your hair for the mini twist? And what do you use for heat protection?
I usually don’t use any product for twist and I recently started using Olaplex hair protectant oil for heat, but before, I used L’Oreal heat protectant
Nice video. How long do you usually leave your mini twists in for?
Thank you, usually for a month.

Your hair is gorgeous ❤
Thank you!!
Your hair is so beautiful. I hope one day my hair can look like that when I do a twist out in the future. My hair is a little bit past chest length so I don't know how long it will take.
Thank you! On an average, hair grows 6 inches a year, so maybe if you lose like 2 inches on the way it may take couple years to get to waist length like me.
New subbie!!!!
Yay!🙌🏽…Welcome to the club!
I learned that one product (or "elixir oil") or particular hair product won't grow your hair. Its a mix of different habits that will 1. right tools for detangling and styling 2. A routine for your washing, conditioning and maintaining the hair 3. Protecting your hair at night daily 4. Eating healthy and balanced foods 5. Being consistent in your routine 6. Try your best to stay stress free and exercise 8. Do some health check (cause some health issues can trigger hair growth) 9. Minimize direct heat from heating tools as much as you can 10. Avoid any hairstyle that causes pain and tension on the scalp (they say beauty is pain, that's the biggest lie that has caused women to endure trauma for the sake of beauty while the results oftentimes are regrettable) Last but not least 11. Leave your hair the f* alone. Low manipulation All of the above has helped me see results but everyone can accommodate based on the specific needs of their hair
Very true! All these you mentioned has helped me a lot too.
Just want to say you are beautiful...and so is your hair ❤
Thank you ☺️
What I have learnt on my hair journey is to simply leave it alone, limit manipulating it to the most minimum and it will grow. As you said everyone is unique one needs to discover what works for their own hair in terms of styling, Products, maybe schedules for maintaining the hair etc.
I agree 💯
You and your hair are absolutely gorgeous
Thank you ☺️
Gal, your hair , your skin you are gorgeous 😮
Thank you ☺️
Keep going! You're doing very well
Thanks!
So which product should I use for my hair to look like yours? Lol.
😂😂….use Shea butter
Do you use any product to do your twist?
I normally don’t use any product when twisting but sometimes add a leave-in conditioner for hydration
She's pretty
Thank you ☺️
so beautiful ! 💕
Ridiculously beautiful hair
What oil would you recommend?
I use rosemary oil and works for me, but I heard it doesn’t work for others. So, if you haven’t tried it, you can try it for a month to see how your hair will feel.
What a beautiful lady with beautiful hair!
Thank you ☺️
@ no problem!
I do my hair the same way and it’s a great natural protective style. You give the twist out such a vibe. ❤
