don't replace the battery - if it's dead, and you have the know how, charge it in place (without removing the board!!! as that is a tricky mofo to get the potentiometer back in place as you have to desolder it and press the board on to it in place)

Why did you need to remove the bottom of the watch? It looks like only the top panel needed removing.

Battery dimensions (length / diameter) would have been useful.

In brand new device, battery does not last 10 minutes....such a disappointed in panasonic. Also in my hair trimmer, same thing. Panasonic today really sucks with battery life.

If I may suggest for next video you make the motion slower and you may make close up of the details. Music was too annoying. I have a question if you may answer me. Could I replace NIMH battery with lithium? I will appreciate your comments on this.

It only turns a bit....you can push it a bit firmly from the other end to slightly push the bottom out. Be careful, though you dont crack anything ....

Thank-you for sharing this solution. Whilst removing the unit from the sleeve was slightly trickier than it looks, this simple tightening of the screw has fixed the problem perfectly. Thanks a lot!

Glue did not work, wrench with towel to pop it sligthly open did, but then, i had a touchscreen model , so i got a cable that was fiddly to get back in slot, managed to do it, every light lit up, exept it didnt start, Im envy of all you that has the button layout model, look how smooth everything just slides out . Bricked.

Ok so if you are wondering, the next steps are - Desolder the battery points from the board Spot weld/solder the tabs(metal sheet bits that were welded on to both sides of the old battery to the new battery Align the new battery's tabs with holes on the desoldered board previously Solder both of the battery terminals to the board... Finish up by switching on before closing the plastic casing... Hope this was little bit helpful...😊
