I want to visit this area, I too am a little afraid of bears.. also I’m wondering if a summer visit would be shared with thousands of other tourists, I like at least some solitude when hiking! We’d like to camp, it seems that booking well in advance is necessary. Very different from Scotland 😉 ATB! Sue

Well I could see in the first 20 seconds why it needed to be on everyone's bucket list, the views were amazing. Not that keen on the sound of bears, nice to see one from a distance but sire as hell would not want to bump into one on the trail, especially if they have cubs! Yes, I think I would be inspired if I was having lunch up there too, despite the cold. It looked a great 9 mile hike, cheers Alan

I was here just last week! It’s breathtaking!!! Being there feels like you’re in a painting… the view is magnificent 😊 Best part of the trip was that it was with my parents who are already in their 60’s. Precious times indeed.
