However we outside of LA and the Major cities dont have the voting power to affect change. Its all the rich and ignorant people living in LA who have the majority vote cause theres so many of them. So I believe solar batteries charge up in the sun and then hold a charge my friend. The sun goes down they still have that charge. And more than 50% of the entire states energy comes from wind and solar. CA leads the nation in solar energy and TX leads in wind energy.

We are the Saudi Arabia of coal and natural gas. Even with all the coal plants that have been shutdown between 2015 and now thanks to the EPA mercury rule, we have enough coal to run all the coal plants at full load for 500 years and the natural gas plants for 150 years. The USA doesnt need to import any coal.

From what I've researched. it's a refinery issue. U.S. refineries are configured for heavier crude, not the the lighter crude the U.S. produces. Why is this? I have a lot of thoughts as to why. But I don't really know.

Im a Californian, where the fuck is he getting his information? We have not shut anything down. Ecological mandates have made and some facilities are being revamped, but they havent been shut down. Also there are solar tax incentives for businesses which has led to an explosion of ev charging stations in offices buildings.....doesnt really help most ev owners, but it is something.......even school districts have installed mass solar and free ev charging stations. None of it is perfect, but nothing has been shut down. PGE should be shut down because they're a terrible fucking company, but california keeps throwing money at them so they can do basic maintenance on their energy systems, which shouldnt fall on the tax payers. This is a private company propped up by California taxes. They just tried to get $5 billion for a nuclear facility theyve let fall into disrepair. So do not blame corporation greed on californian regulation. California continues to allow energy companies earn year over year profit highs because California keeps giving them money and allowing them to jack up their energy rates. I always think its funny when small countries and states tried to pick apart California, as if we arent a major economic powerhouse on our own. Im sorry where you live has a gdp smaller than my town, but my state continues to generate enough income to keep the rest of the country living.

Uh, California does not import oil. Oil and gas companies import the oil via their refineries. Also, California does not control the electric grid. In the north, it's PG&E who buys electricity from the grid when and if they are not producing enough electricity on their own, and I believe So. Cal is Southern Edison?, doing the same. In any case, it's NOT California. Just because some idiot makes a video and sticks it on UA-cam, doesn't make it factual.
