"I've created a chess program that mimics human play," said a computer science major. "So it plays more natural moves?" asks the advising professor. "No, but it does blame its loss on outside conditions!"

Hikaru and GothamChess Tell You to MOVE (Time Management Extension)
Переглядів 59 тис.3 роки тому
A while back, @GothamChess released a video on Time Management (ua-cam.com/video/d_K8Xe3obMM/v-deo.html), where he recommended players to not spend more than a certain amount of time per move. I thought this was an excellent suggestion, but how are we supposed to keep track of this? Are we supposed to have a timer next to us that we have to press every time it's our move? Or should we be counti...

I Built SOCIAL DISTANCING CHESS
Переглядів 18 тис.3 роки тому
I built Social Distancing Chess from scratch! The premise to this interesting chess variant is simple - every chess piece has distanced themselves from each other in the starting position, and the board has been expanded! Knights are much weaker on this massively increased board, so I have buffed them to be able to move in a 2-by-4 L shape as well as the traditional 1-by-2 L shape. Also, pawns ...

Bro thinks he is hikaru
Get better at the game levy, that would never happen to magnus bot.
1:07 Roblox: Are you challenging me?
i tried this and my elo dropped >9000 points...
WTF
I dont even care - levy rozman/gotham chess
Levy realising how bots work
2 million of his viewers didn't subscribe. LOL!
This guy knows Levy like the back of his hand, both bot and real.
Why is your PFP Pampers lol
if you play him yourself try the premoved game
defeating a 2500 elo rated both with premoves is wild fr 💀💀
It’s bot
"- Did you program my bot to act like an idiot? - Aren't the bots already programmed to be accurate to the real player?" Nice roasting man!
Why are you so meen to Levi?
i did it too
I am curious how does the program spectate the game? How does it know that it is your move, this is a cool project! Want to make something like this myself!
That is the Best channel I've discovered in a long time. So bad you don't make videos anymore 😢 Hope you come back one day !
Hahahaahahaha this was pretty funny
This video made my day
Gotham Bot sacrificed .... THE KIIIIIIING.
Unwatchable. Stop editing in a video of you saying nonsense in the gayest voice I've ever heard.
Good to see levy be used for content for a change
bro actually went through the 5 stages of grief
Dude just hikaru'd levybot
It's actually very easy to do this it just takes a lot of time and note taking the moves the only thing impressive here is the time it took
I mean the only way you would be able to premove an entire game is if you know the patterns very well, if he does a move that he's not able to predict then he wouldn't be able to premove that much because it wouldn't be possible. When gotham played himself you see him complain about making the same opening move 3 times in a row. Robots are more predictable than humans in that way. How many times did he play this bot before? It doesn't say it was his first time. You know what would blow everyone's minds? beating an IM with premoves. (e.g writes out all of his moves before the game even starts.)
1:44 omggg noooo whyyy
Bro thinks he Is hikaru 🗿
It’s funny how he doesn’t fully accept it because he distances the image of the boy from himself “crazy how he can beat A boy premoving” and that computer science degree spiel
Your vibe is just off. Making fun of cute little Gotham
levy acting in a nutshell xD. he does a good job, though. that's why he's most of the time, entertaining to watch.
Bots have only have few responses to each positions
Levy is tilted because his bot reflects himself, mid! This made my peepee hard because I can’t stand levy’s arrogance! Keep up the good work my friend lol
so you memorized a game
Levy fails to include himself in other videos.
Its not working
bro really said: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
1:48 it's not that accurate, even his openings is wrong
We whant pgn
Good one
I promove a blunder
You have to remember whatever you do there's always a random Asian better than you
i just noticed how big his forehead is
Bro literally said, if hikaru could, i can
i saw this in the firefox extensions page and just installed it because i wanted to practice against a coach bot and analyze my game at the same time but then i started spending over 10 minutes on one move considering every possibility in the world but missed a move that the bot played which totally threw me off and made me realize how dumb it is to spend that much time. even against a bot with unlimited time i still made an oversight, imagine doing that in a real game with real time. if you look at how bots work, they go a certain depth of theoretical moves into a play to consider the best possible move, i think i've seen the number 20 thrown around a fair few times so say a bot looks 20 moves ahead and determines that X is the best move. that is pretty good and will basically guarantee a win against any human, but chess is virtually infinite with 10¹²⁰ possible moves, more than the amount of atoms in the universe. even though the principles of chess are static and you could theoretically 'solve chess', there are so many possibilities that it isn't really possible. same goes with the bots. in theory, the bots could go to a depth that is mind bogglingly large and analyze the entire 10¹²⁰ possible variations making the most perfect move every time, but they have a limit to computing power that restricts them from doing this, and if they tried to go for a huge length of depth they would spend too much time considering their move and lose the game on time. so we are basically just chess ai with a really low depth and less computing power. if you read this, i am so sincerely sorry for making you read this giant rambling mess, but i think the comparison is kinda fun.
Any advices to learn coding
my face when it doesnt work
And then bro fricking disappeared
Is this guy alive?
levy took it way too personal xd
