Jay is funny as a true stand up and he was funny on Dave. But on the Tonight Show I know his ratings were the best but I just thought he was corny AF. Not to mention his awkward star gazing interviews were just so lame. And now he’s saying Agent Orange being elected is a “great day for democracy.” Need I say more.

Jay Leno ruined the golden age of late night where I could watch Conan, and then Letterman's musical guest, and then Craig Ferguson. It was so great while it lasted.

Well Conan was a hit or miss host. As for Letterman, I never found him interesting, entertaining, or anything beyond a sanctimonious prick.

Paul couldn’t contribute less to a conversation than he did in this segment if he tried. Literally only ever parrots what Dave is saying, generally at least twice, making it infinitely less funny. It stuns me that he ever landed this role on the show. At least Andy Richter and Guillermo are capable of being funny on their own, without the host that hired them. This is such a fantastic commentary segment by Dave in any case.

This is one of the best "bits" of comedy ever! And Dave just puts its forward so perfectly...even Paul's "vintage Jay" comment is perfectly timed. So well done!

I never watched Letterman because I couldn't stand more than 30 seconds of Shaffer doing a bad impersonation of a parrot

I loved letterman, but could not stand paul and his incessant mockingbird imitation in the background.

Conan's work and life speaks for itself. Compare UA-cam hits between the two...A car tried to kill Leno...

Love Conan and Letterman, Leno is funny but doesn't come out as authentic. Don't know any of the three, but Leno from the outside looks like the most crooked.
