I heard a rumor that if you swap out the tires and / or rims of your Tesla for new ones they won't fix the new tires/ rims ??? Is this true.

Nice comments and informative review, currently I have the vw Passat gte, the model 3p will be my next car, I like the black and white combo it does look nice, a nightmare to keep clean as are all dark colors but look fantastic when they are polished.

it is part of their businee model. The cars are buil with maximum of automation which leads to cosmetic defects. Most people dont even see them, the others get their car fixed after delivery. Huge gain of time and ressources allowing t build as much cars as possile at maximum profit. Also every review that points out those cosmetic issues, still mention how the driving experiance is great. That is enough to offset the negatives and keeps true to the saying : "there is no such hing as bad publicity". Overestimated range and impact of temperature extremes is the same story.

How do you auto park this, have a model 3 long range and don't see no "P" icon in any parking lot. Not that I need it, parking this is extremely easy, even backing up

It's not a very very thin sidewall, the correct description is it's either very tall or wide and very short or narrow.

The build quality issue is one thing but the attitude of the buyers is another problem. Because they feel that Tesla can do no wrong and always come up with excuses there is no incentive to up the build quality. The second another manufacturer can compete with Tesla battery and software wise that will be it for Tesla.
