Interior attack, the most efficient way to get to the seat of the fire and put water directly on it. Hitting it "hard from the yard" is good in some cases, but not all. It's also been proven hundreds of times, water doesn't "push" fire. If that's what you're implying, I suggest you study up.

The ONLY time it is better to go inside initially is when you Can't see what's burning. You vent the windows closest to the fire rooms and get a fan at the door and Then go in. It is proven to work, if done properly, safely and in the right scenario whether you like to admit it or not. Science is obvious. Heat rises, cut hole in roof, heat/gasses escape, it now has a vent to escape through. As for the aggressive interior attack, they knew where the fire was, hitting it from inside is extremely effective. Your OPINION and FACT are two different things, and they tend to disagree with one another. As I stated also, pushing fire doesn't work. I don't exactly understand what "point" your're trying to make. They're putting the fire out from inside, not trying to push it. I have been watching these videos for 8 years and I could count on one hand the times that VV Could work. Not that it did anything positive but under the Perfect conditions you mentioned it Could work. For the 99.9% of times they go up and do Nothing, it is not worth the risk when all they have to do is open a window near the fire room. The smoke and flame self vent by releasing the pressure the fire created. You, and the rest of the followers will Never let that sink in. You think because heat rises, it will go up through the hole and they can go inside to a wonderful environment. Ever see a chimney that wouldn't draw? A chimney is Designed to Let Heat go up and out of the house but often, because of higher pressure outside., the rising heat isn't sufficient. Cold dense air has to be forced out before a flow can be created. In a house fire you also have pressure zones, air leaks, open doors and windows and gable end and soffit vents that destroy the structures ability to work like a chimney. Not to mention all the dampers. Floors, walls, ceilings and doors. Cut a hole in the roof and knock out the ceiling in a room with a closed door and you will never get heat and smoke from the first floor out the roof. People view things in two dimensions. In this case that means, if they See fire and smoke coming out the hole, VVing must be working. In three dimensions, which means THINKING about it, what I said above applies. i didn't buy this house because of that incident saw that after i googled the address... that was long before this fire.. i looked at this house in 2015
