How We Can Give to Christ This Christmas
Merry Christmas! In this video, I present three ways we can give to Christ this upcoming Christmas. Our holiday season becomes even better when we act as lights of Christ in the world. This Christmas, let’s not get too swept away by the charm of secular Christmas traditions and let’s instead reflect on the true reason for the season. God bless you and know of my prayers for you!

Why We Defend Our Catholic Faith

The Catholic Church is the ark of Noah, so let’s evangelize the world and get as many people on board as we can! In this video, I only begin to explain why we should defend our Catholic faith. We defend our faith because the Catholic Church has the fullness of truth. I explain that Christ founded the Catholic Church and how He desires His Church to be united in one. These fundamental truths giv...

Why Do Catholics Emphasize the CRUCIFIX So Much?

In this video, I give 3 brief reasons as to why Catholics put great emphasis on the Crucifix. The Crucifix is the symbol of the greatest love of all, and it is important that all of us Christians follow Paul’s teaching and preach Christ crucified, because it is indeed the good news. It is the Gospel of Christianity. Thank you for watching and God bless!

The Eucharist IS Jesus Christ!

In this video, I scratch the surface of the theology and richness of the most Holy Eucharist. The majority of Catholic Christians in this day and age don’t believe that the Eucharist is actually the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, hence the National Eucharistic Revival. Catholic Christians, all Christians, and the whole world for that matter, need to wake up to this profound and...

The Catholic Church cannot be found in scripture by name or practice. Cardinals, Nuns, infant baptism, praying to Mary etc....can not be found in scripture, they are man made.
Thank you for your comment. The Bible is a Catholic book that was compiled by the Catholic Church. God founded His Church and gave Peter the keys to the kingdom (Matthew 16:18). He also gave His apostles the authority to forgive and retain sins (John 20:21-23). The apostles had successors because Matthias succeeded Judas (Acts 1:21). These are all Catholic practices that are found in Scripture (The Papacy, the sacrament of Confession, and Apostolic Succession). The Bible does not teach that everything we believe as Christians must be explicitly taught in the Bible. The word “Trinity” is not found in scripture, yet it is an essential Christian doctrine. As Catholics, we hold fast to the traditions that have been handed onto us as well as Scripture (2 Thessalonians 2:15) God bless you🙏
@@LivingtheLiturgy and thanks for your reply. Yes, the Good Lord founded his church and Peter was given the keys to the kingdom and that happened in Acts 2 when Peter preached the first gospel sermon. But your assumption is, that is the Catholic Church, so why would Jesus call his bride " CATHOLIC'? Yes the apostles forgave sins and the only successor was Mathias, it said in v21 " So one of the men WHO HAVE ACCOMPANIED US during ALL THE TIME THAT THE LORD JESUS WENT IN AND OUT AMONG US, beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken from us- one of these men must become with us a witness to his resurrection....", There is no man today who fits these qualifications and there are no apostles today, John 20:21-23 as you pointed out, applied to the apostles, no man today fits the qualification for an apostle. So, again I ask, where in scripture is the Catholic Church mentioned by name or practice in the bible? Cardinals? Nuns? infant baptism? etc.... In John 16:13 Jesus said to his apostles, " When the Spirit of truth comes, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH..." so, how much is ALL TRUTH? Jude 3 " Contend for the faith which was ONCE FOR ALL DELIEVERED TO THE SAINTS", what does ONCE FOR ALL MEAN? 2 Peter 1:3 " His divine power has granted us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN to life and godliness", again, what is ALL THINGS? James 1:25 " But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty" Col 4:12 " That you may stand MATURE AND FULLY ASSURED IN ALL THE WILL OF GOD". Col 1:25 Paul says, " I became a minister according to the divine office.....TO MAKE THE WORD OF GOD FULLY KNOWN.." so what does "FULLY KNOWN" MEAN? Phil 4:9 Paul says, " What you have learned, received, heard and seen in me DO, AND THE GOD OF PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU", so if I do what Paul says, God will be with me. Acts 22:14 " The God of our fathers appointed Paul to KNOW HIS WILL" Acts 9:15 " Go, for Paul is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles, kings, and the sons of Israel". So, we have ALL TRUTH, IT WAS MADE FULLY KNOWN AND IT WAS ONCE FOR ALL DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS. Trinity means "THREE", 1 John 5:7 KJV " There are THREE (TRINITY) that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word and the HS" Matt 28:19 " Baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, HS", that is three ( TRINITY) So again, the Catholic Church cannot be found in scripture by name or doctrine. Where are Cardinals, Nuns, infant baptism etc.....found in scripture? Romans 16:16 " The Churches of Christ salute you" and Gal 1:22 " Known by sight to the Churches of Christ in Judea", and the Catholic Church is mentioned where?
@@DannyLoyd "Obey your leaders and defer to them, for they keep watch over you and will have to give an account, that they may fulfill their task with joy and not with sorrow, for that would be of no advantage to you." (Hebrews 13:17) "Every high priest is taken from among men and made their representative before God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal patiently with the ignorant and erring, for he himself is beset by weakness and so, for this reason, must make sin offerings for himself as well as for the people." (Hebrews 5:1-3) Who are our leaders? Who are our high priests who offer sin offerings for himself and for the people? The successors of Christ's apostles. The apostles received apostolic authority to lay hands and have successors. "Do not neglect the gift you have, which was conferred on you through the prophetic word with the imposition of hands of the presbyterate." (1 Timothy 4:14) In this verse, Paul clearly tells Timothy that the grace of the Priesthood was given to him by the laying on of hands. “Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church” -St. Ignatius of Antioch, letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 (A.D. 110) This is the first writing where Christ's Church is referred to with the term "Catholic." The word "Catholic" is simply used to refer to Christ's universal Church. All early Christians were Catholics. You cannot find the words "Reformation", "Denomination", or "Martin Luther" in the Bible, yet Protestants submit to Luther over Christ regarding the Church. Sola Scripture creates confusion and countless Protestant denominations. "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, (all nations, referring to the universal/Catholic Church) baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) Christ is with His apostles and their successors, who are in His bride (the Catholic Church) until the end of the age. God bless and I will pray for you🙏
@@LivingtheLiturgy Greetings, so who are our leaders? 1 Timothy 3:1 " If any one aspires to the office of bishop, he desires a noble task. Now a bishop must be above reproach, the HUSBAND OF ONE WIFE.......he must manage his own HOUSEHOLD WELL, KEEPING HIS CHILDREN submissive.....for if a man does not know how to manage HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD, HOW CAN HE CARE FOR GOD'S CHURCH?", so are Catholic Bishop's the HUSBAND OF ONE WIFE? DOES HE KEEP HIS CHILDREN SUBMISSIVE? How can he manage God's Church if he can't manage his own household? And 1 Timothy 3:8-13 gives the qualifications for DEACONS. Where I attend, we have bishops and deacons and they meet these qualifications, but again, do Catholic bishops meet these qualifications? Heb 4:14 " Since then we have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God.....for we have not a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses.....Let US DRAW NEAR TO THE THRONE OF GRACE, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need". Heb 7:23 " The former priest were many in number because they were prevented by death from continuing.....BUT JESUS HOLDS HIS PRIESTHOOD PERMANENTLY because he continues forever. Consequently he is able for ALL TIME TO SAVED THOSE WHO DRAW NEAR TO GOD through him, SINCE HE ALWAYS LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THEM. For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, ......exalted above the heavens. He has no need to offer SACRIFICES DAILY.....he did this ONCE FOR ALL WHEN HE OFFERED UP HIMSELF." Heb 8:1 " Now the point in what we are saying; WE HAVE SUCH A HIGH PRIEST, ONE WHO IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD...... Heb 5:1-3 talks about the Levitical priesthood, they offered up animal sacrifices, do you still offer up animal sacrifices? In Exodus 29 it gives the qualifications to become a high priest, " Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them....that they may serve as priest. Take one young bull and two rams...." Jesus is my HIGH PRIEST, he makes intercessions for me. I need no man to be my high priest..... I do not follow Luther, I do not submit to Luther and I am not a protestant....I am a Christian and I submit to the Lord and his word, the bible. I gave you scripture to show the bible is our standard for authority, which you never answered!!! They plainly show that the bible has "ALL TRUTH". So, take the time to answer them. Matt 28:19-20 offers you know proof of the Catholic Church, it says make DISCIPLES, NOT CATHOLICS, and in Acts 11:26 it says, " In Antioch the DISCIPLES WERE FOR THE FIRST TIME CALLED CHRISTIANS", so to make a disciple, was to make a Christian, not a Catholic!!! So, where in scripture is the Catholic Church mentioned by name? or practice? Cardinals, Nuns,..... Romans 16:16 " The Churches of Christ salute you" Gal 1:22 " know by sight to the Churches of Christ in Judea".
Dude, history is free to learn. Catholics are the only Christians that resemble the early Christians.

Jesus was meant for his own people. Roman Catholic church attitude towards the Jews was unchristian.
Thank you for your comment. How is the Catholic Church unchristian towards the Jews exactly?
@LivingtheLiturgy l amazed at your lack of knowledge of your church past history against the god killer's the Jews. Now l understand why it's secret dark side is concealed from it's adherents
I apologize, I wanted to be precise in my response so I was curious about which time period exactly you were referring to. There has sadly been suffering upon Jews that was condoned by members of the Church. These were dark times in Church history. The Church has condemned anti-semitism and has rejected Jewish guilt for Christ’s death (Vatican 2, Nostra Aetate). Today, the Catholic Church refers to Jews as “our eldest brothers”. After all, Catholicism is derived from Judaism. There have been sinners in the Church who have done cruel and foolish actions in the past, yet these stumbling blocks in Church history do not remove the divine foundation that Christ gave His Church. God bless🙏
@LivingtheLiturgy only a few voices have spoken but l.think.since the holocaust and Hitler hatred against them, will make it plain it's too late to apologise because jesus teaching was against your church condemnation against them.
I’m glad you bring this up. The Catholic Church is the religion that rescued the most Jews during the holocaust. Under the leadership of Pope Pius 12th, the Church saved hundreds of thousands of Jews. The Pope even received a reward from the general secretary of the World Jewish Council for his efforts in rescuing Jews from persecution. All love to our Jewish brothers and sisters🙏
Awesome videos and narration.

The "first and chief sacrament of forgiveness of sins"(977)"delivers no one."(978) That is why a Catholic has to confess their sins to a sinner (a priest) in the sacrament of Penance in order to be "reconciled with God and with the Church."(980) It doesn't matter how you slice it and dice it, water Baptism is not enough. Yes, I can qoute the entire paragraph, but the catch word is "Yet." "Yet the grace of Baptism delivers no one from all the weakness of nature" - i.e. sin.(978) That's a cheap, man-made grace because it doesn't deliver anyone from their sins. Therefore, the Catholic Church says one must go to the priest for confession. Penance, like water Baptism, the baptism that "delivers no one"(978) and you can't be "reborn" by it, are both "necessary for salvation."(980) What did Jesus say in John 7:37-39, 14:6? Who is "full of grace and truth," Jesus Christ or the Catholic Church?(John 1:14) I suggest you read John 1:11-14. And what did Peter, the so-called first Pope, say about "the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth" (v.10) in Acts 4:12: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." That makes the Catholic Church a liar and totally debunks the Catechism of the Catholic Church, especially 95. If you can tell me what is true about Catechism 841, get back to me.
"Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” John 20:21-23 "Jesus answered, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." John 3:5 CCC 978 states that: "Baptism delivers no one from all the weakness of nature." Even after Baptism, we all have an inclination to sin called concupiscence. CCC 1264 "Yet certain temporal consequences of sin remain in the baptized, such as suffering, illness, death, and such frailties inherent in life as weaknesses of character, and so on, as well as an inclination to sin that Tradition calls concupiscence, or metaphorically, “the tinder for sin” (fomes peccati); since concupiscence “is left for us to wrestle with, it cannot harm those who do not consent but manfully resist it by the grace of Jesus Christ.”1 Indeed, “an athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” Salvation is through the Gospel and Christ alone. We are saved by grace through faith, lived out in a life of love and holiness. Christ founded the Catholic Church and gave us the Sacraments. This can all be found in the Bible. CCC 841 is addressing that we follow the same Abrahamic God as the Muslims. Read on to CCC 843: "The Catholic Church recognizes in other religions that search, among shadows and images, for the God who is unknown yet near since he gives life and breath and all things and wants all men to be saved. Thus, the Church considers all goodness and truth found in these religions as "a preparation for the Gospel and given by him who enlightens all men that they may at length have life." God bless and I will keep you in prayer🙏
please read mat 16 carefully. Jesus would never establish his church upon a sinful man. moments later he called Peter SATAN. please get smart. read the Bible.
"And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." -- How is that not Our Lord stabilishing his Church? Christ established the Church upon the apostles, this is clear... Paul also teaches that the Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth. Christ also promised that His Church would be guided until the end of time. Do you follow the teachings of Christ, or are you guided solely by your own perspective? This is the problem with Protestants, it's not that they don't believe in the papacy, but that each becomes their own pope, interpreting the Bible however they want
John 10: Jesus says there will be one flock. John 21: Jesus commands Peter to feed His sheep and commands him to tend His sheep. Taking this into account WITH Matthew 16 where Jesus gives Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven, as well as Jesus praying for us to be in unity in John 17, the Bible is clear. You're either in the flock led by Peter or you're in the wrong flock brother. False teachers will teach, the Catholic Church still stands after 2,000 years and has taught the same message. Jesus Christ is Lord. God bless.
"Jesus would never establish His Church upon a Sinful Man" THAT IS WHAT THE PHARISEE WOULD SAY ABOUT THE TAX COLLECTOR IN THE PARABLE . The Katholik Church is the one from where you get your Bible , you clown .
Soli Deo Gloria
while nobody likes to be wrong, defending something is well, until it is in contradiction with God's Word. catholicism isn't Christianity, according to the Bible.
The Catholic Church is "Christianity". In fact, it's the only "Christianity" that exists. Jesus only founded one Church, the Catholic Church. The funny thing is that you base your beliefs on the Bible, which was both created and preserved by the Catholic Church. So I ask you, why don't you throw away your Bible, if that came from something "not christian"?
@@a963333 does a Christian love Christ -- John 14:15 ?
Christ never knew or saw that "bible" it came from King James in the 1600s.
@@whatsup3270 since Moses we've had Scripture -- there's zero contradiction today between what we have and God's will.
@@tony1685 So which is it the Scriptures of Moses which extend past his death or the Bible, which one is being followed this week. Numbers 5 & 31 seem particularly brutal.
Man idk, I want to become Orthodox because the Catholic church keeps changing soo much. For example filioque was added, then papacy and what ever creed the pope can make up in the future for it to be canonical. The church keeps changing all the time and the Orthodox church still hasn't changed for about 2 thousand years.
You should look up Orthodox Church rejoins the Catholic Church council of Florence. For about 19 to 20 years there wasn't an Orthodox Church they rejoined Rome and agreed with the council. They don't tell you that part, probably because they forgot about it.
@ that was just an agreement for a split, still dosent make it ok. The Orthodox Church just wanted to be away from the Catholic Church cas they kept changing lol

@@tony1685 I assume you are referring to Catholics creating statues and graven images that we "worship". God tells us to not make statues and graven images (Exodus 20:2-5). Only 5 chapters later, He commanded Moses to make statues for the ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:18-19) and Solomon created statues and images when he built a temple for the glory of God (1 Kings 6:23-32). Solomon's work pleased God (1 Kings 9:3) God does not forbid statues, he forbids the adoration of statues. Catholics do not worship statues, we commemorate what the statue depicts. It's just like how you would remember your mother or a close relative by looking at a photograph. Also, many protestants use statues for the nativity scene during Christmas time! Follow the Church that Christ founded, you will find the fullness of truth in it🙏I hope this is helpful and God bless you!
