Autosage is the home of random automotive videos such as vehicle tours, walkarounds, burnouts, repairs and more.
Cars, trucks, automobiles, trailers, bikes, bicycles, industrial, you name it.
For Earlier videos: (I call it the "Malibu era")
This is the home of the original videos that used to be on my scfunnyehlol channel:
www.youtube.com/@scfunnyehlol
Now moved here to this brand new channel, Autosage. Scfunnyehlol is now a GTA/video game channel.
I apologize for the quality of my older videos - 1080p back then was like how 8k is nowadays. I didn't have the greatest cameras either, and some were shot with my phone (T-mobile Sidekick lol). I reuploaded them anyway though, but with alot of audio edits - copyright music.
Any questions or anything, email me at scfunnyehlol@hotmail.com

1999 Chevy Malibu Cold Start & Reparking (no muffler)
Just starting up the old Malibu, drove it around my apartment complex real quick and came back to park it backwards. Exciting I know (haha) but this video was about the sound more than anything.
Enjoy the vid

Just a drive in the Elantra on a bitter cold night. I remember this was the winter of the polar vortex in 2019, some pretty cold days this winter. Enjoy the vid I was playing copyright music on the radio so I had to replace the audio.. 1999 Chevrolet Malibu Driving (no muffler)
Переглядів 9414 годин тому
Just a very short clip of what the Malibu sounded like inside the car with the muffler detached. I like how it sounded actually, but just a little too loud at times. Time to fix it soon. I know the audio isn't great, but it's best to be heard with either headphones, or a speaker system that has some bass. Enjoy the vid *This video is from 2019, now reuploaded, and was originally on my other cha...

1999 Chevrolet Malibu - Replacing the Ignition Lock Cylinder
Переглядів 29День тому
Here in this video I show you how to replace the ignition lock cylinder in a chevy malibu 5th gen. This could also work for pontiac Grand ams, oldsmobile aleros, chevy venture, and more GM vehicles from the late 90s & 2000's. I apologize about the audio being "too quiet" sometimes... at the time I didn't use any kind of professional equipment to make this video, just my simple samsung galaxy ph...
2008 Hyundai Elantra - Walk Around and Quick Drive
Переглядів 151День тому
Finally, I got around to making a walk around video of my Elantra. Not a bad little car, and I got it for a great price because of the "accident". Only issue I had so far was the o2 sensor, which you can see that video here: ua-cam.com/video/c98Ul3Hz23I/v-deo.htmlsi=caySZLxF6AppUPZE Spark plug video: ua-cam.com/video/7M2AIOMF-pI/v-deo.htmlsi=ZgJMB8Mbxz00X6Wl *This video is from 2018, now reuplo...
2005 Ford Focus ZXW With 352K Miles! Quick Walk Around
Переглядів 146День тому
Here's a Focus wagon with 352k! It's a little rough, to be expected. It needed some work, like suspension, engine, and etc. The rattling looked like a loose heat shield maybe? Beater with a heater. Still runs like a champ though and it was still being driven quite a bit at this time. Few days later after this video, the power steering pump went out.. aha.. This was actually a friends company ve...
1999 Chevy Malibu Small Headliner Fix and Start Up
Переглядів 16314 днів тому
Mainly in this video I start the Malibu. Not only that though, I show you how I "fixed" my headliner to prevent further sagging, these neat little pins I got from Walmart, they twist and screw in. Pretty cool little trick if your looking for a quick fix for your headliner. I wish I showed what they look like. The pins kinda look like a cork screw. Anyway haha enjoy the vid *This video is from 2...

Nothing too exciting here, just starting it up and driving it around. I wasn't daily driving this car anymore, but I still wanted to keep it going. It needed a few things as well. 1999 Chevrolet Malibu - Back To Factory Air Intake

Going back to the factory intake on the old Malibu. The short ram intake was a fun idea at the time, but I wasn't finding it to be worth keeping anymore. Enjoy the vid *This video is from 2018, now reuploaded, and was originally on my other channel "scfunnyehlol". ua-cam.com/users/scfunnyehlol

I remember being in the car with my father driving and getting pulled over for a loud muffler problem like that. Cops pulling people over for being poor never ceases to amaze.

It’s the Tran
The belt rubs against st in the engine size the way the belt moovs when sitting for awhile
What happened to this Trailblazer?
I love a nice wagon! that's a crazy amount of miles. You don't see those anymore.
A Honda starter always sounds like it needs a new battery ^^ Well at least on the bigger engines, here is an example of my old Civic (motor was never available in the US) ua-cam.com/video/PXhOo_h2bOc/v-deo.html Cheers
Yikes, that dodge.. I think it just needs power steering fluid
That's what I thought too, but the fluid was okay, and it only did that when it was cold on startup. It went away as it warmed up. Maybe the pump was on its way out lol
You obviously have a TON of videos that were from your other channel! What happened to this Elantra, and your 1999 Malibu?
Yes, and plus some videos that I never got to publishing, haha I'm still in the process of reuploading my old stuff before I become current with this channel, however long story short - I still have the Elantra today! However I no longer have the Malibu, I sold it in 2020. I still have a few more Malibu videos coming up soon.
14f.... hmm -10 Those are rookie numbers! Gas cars shouldn't have any issues starting up to -20c (-4f) Here in Montreal we occasionally dip around -30c (-22f) ... I have a Jetta TDI which is always fun to try and start between -4f and -22f... cycle the glowplugs a number of times, need a good ALG battery and eventually gets there. (That model Elantra is rock solid, that 2.0 will never skip a beat, sadly I can't say the same for the newer GDI ones)
This is old. The new one is 2023.
Not 2017
Hey man got the same car same year it’s a manual it has 206k miles would u say that’s super high for these ?
I say its high, but not super high. I would say you got plenty of miles left unless its starting to rust out. Plus make sure you replace your timing belt. Should be good for hopefully another 100k regularly maintained. Maybe more or less depending on where you live
@@Autosage06 it says the last time the timing belt was replaced was at 69k so it’s been a while
@@troyholland3436 Wow yeah I'd do that as soon as you can. If that belt goes, the engine is done.
@@Autosage06 is it hard or a lot of money to replace that internal belt?
@@troyholland3436 I honestly took it to my mechanic to get it done, just didnt have time.. it didnt cost too much to get done, and it doesnt seem too hard to do, just a pain to do if you dont have a garage or time. With replacing the belt, you have to make sure all of the pulleys are in the exact same position they were in prior to removing the old one (making marks with a marker or something), otherwise the timing will be off and could damage the engine. Sorry for the late response
This is looking amazing still, I miss driving mine. The dreaded rust around the gas cap has came back on mine.
It looks great man
very nice
Hell yeah good old malibus
now that’s is a sexy machine 😳
