Senate approval of appointees is the way that citizens give their voice to the decisions of people within the administration. Our Senators are supposed to speak for us, not bow to a president. Poor behavior in the Senate takes away checks and balances.

I'm concerned about embracing the idea of 'resistance'. I immediately think of the saying: What you resist persists. By focusing on what we don't want ~ it will increase and grow. This is the opposite of what we want and need. I have a fun analogy for my point on this. 🦋 When I was concerned about ending up with the old maid card when I played the card game, Old Maid, I actually felt fear when I would draw another card. Oh no! What if I end up with the old maid card?! 🙀 Then I had a thought. Hey, people would call me an old maid. *This Childless Cat Lady never married. 🤔 Then I thought about how deciding to not marry and to not have kids were the right decisions for me. Then I decided that whoever ended up with the old maid card... is the one who won the game! 😸👩‍🦳🐈 This change in my thinking and attitude led directly to my feeling empowered each time I went to draw another card. 🏋‍♀️ The fear and anxiety of drawing the 'old maid' card left me. Now it felt fun and empowering. This made the card game so much more fun! So, how about it? How about we change the way we go about thinking on this. Our physical, mental and spiritual health depends on our thoughts and attitude. This is our card game so to speak. I say we upend the old way of thinking and make our own rules. The difference is... our way of doing things will embrace human rights and human decency. I'm an older woman now and I am seeing what the younger women are saying about 4B. I think this is a really good way to go about things. I have noticed that the posts I have left on different sites haven't always been well received. Which I now realize was me resisting and trying to force them to see reason. Spoiler alert, many if not most, are not going to see reason. They have shown us that they are not people we can reason with. So, like the younger ladies are saying, let's stop interacting with them. I'm going to paraphrase Kamala Harris ➡️ they are unserious people. I love what you said about focusing and building our community. Now... how do we go about doing all of this? Wow! Afefe, I'm so grateful for you! I'm in tears. For some reason, the Selenite was screaming at me the moment I saw it. Everything that you said was a confirmation to what the Divine was saying to me for the past couple of weeks. Even though I'm warring with my physical by being distracted with different energies, my spiritual always came back to a place of peace. In fact, before I even saw this video my energy and love of things that I put off for a bit has returned. But the one thing that Divine kept telling me was "work on yourself and just be."
