Camping on a campsite with Family & Friends. Scenery was amazing! Not a wild camp but a great camp! Not much Audio in this one as this was a Family Camp. (sorry for those who hate these videos) The weather really came down on the last day so due to the rain I could not record!

Derwent Water St Herberts Camp - Part 1
Shame about not recording the setup or packing away. I recognised Llangollen but where was the campsite? It looked basic but nice. Great video
Just found the link to the location
Thanks for this video. I'm wondertjng how it performs in a heavy rain. Also, is the flor water proof? And how is the condensation in the tent set up? Thanks.
Hello, it’s been in heavy rain and was perfect, the fly sheet covers right over the bottom of the hammock so no water actually touches the bottom unless you use it as a bivvi which I haven’t done. Also no condensation there’s plenty of air flow
is this thing suitable for people of 190 cm?
100% yes I’m 6ft1 and there’s plenty of room
Nice video, comforting to see i'm mostly on the right lines
14:02 - had one of those lay flat hammocks myself. Tried twice, got rid of it as I fell out of it four times - seriously unstable. Nice idea, but just didn't get along with it. They are a great ride though!!! 🤣
lol it’s the heart drop moment you think you’re going for a ride! lol. I like to live life on the edge so il continue to use it 😂
No poles 🤣🤣 worst feeling, good to see you back out brother. How you doing mate, great video keep them coming. 👍
What about the erecting of the tent🧐
Did you watch the video?
Just got one on the back of this video.. I use a bungee chord each side from the middle o the arched poles on the inner to tension out the bug mesh inner. It taughts it up nice and then the inner doesnt sag when inside. Take it to the same caribiner point for the outer flysheet. It also creates a nice ridge for the outer flysheet too.. Great hammock tent. Good video.
Cheers for the feedback mate! I will give that a go! Have fun in your new hammock! ⛺️
I got one of these this week. Yet to spend a night in the thing, wondering if you have and was it comfortable.
@@rickystephenson518 I’ve spent multiple nights in it and I love it!😻
@@wildbadgertrek Yer I did catch your derwent lake camp after this one. Looks good. Heading up there next bank holidays 👍
Just a tip, show a full height human in the tent to give a sense of scale....
Thanks for the tip but measurements were added to the video - appreciate your feedback
Please don't take this wrong. Big tree's is not what you want to set up a hammock with. First. The straps are normally to short. Second. And most importantly. There is not much between you and them big dead branches above you. Thoe the view must be great.
Cheers mate, this video was just for an overall view of the hammock I didn’t camp here. However I totally agree with your concern and great advice for those who watch this video! Cheers Aaron :)
Good overview. One of the only ones that actually bought it with your own money - always skeptical with people that get stuff for free. Ordered one for a motorcycle trip, hopefully it's as good as it sounds. Cheers!
I buy all my own equipment mate, I’m not on UA-cam for paid reviews I’m happy with trying to provide overall views of products at a lower cost Hope you have a fantastic motorcycle trip! Where are you going?
Nice one lads . Where’s that launch spot please , is it the jetty half way down just past kettlewell ? Thanks .
Hi mate we launched off barrow bay
Hi does the tent come with the poles at the front to hold the door up as a porch please?
Hey, no they don’t I purchased them separately:)
@@wildbadgertrek thank you
Got mine direct from night cat and it's coming from Amazon anyway 2 day delivery so 💯 don't buy of Amazon
It helps compared to washing it all by hand
I got one. Hood for washing undies and baby items.
Great video, dude! Have you had any issues with condensation? I feel like its gonna get bad condensation because it has no sleeping pods..
Only good for a few socks and panties….takes longer due to draining and rinsing. Great for campers etc. wringing dry isn’t good, I had to wring out excess water 💦
Were did you park your cars and did you have to pay. Great island
No we didn’t pay, there’s a little ramp by barrow bay that has a secluded carpark :)
At £3.04p don't think you could complain if it was rubbish. I got mine today. Tested. It works and cleans things. I did 2, 10 min wash cycles. and one 5 min rinse. Not used spin cycle but tested and it works. As small items, easy to ring out with hands but I do have a spinner. Also added stain remover in with detergents. Items were fully clean, water dirty on cycle 1. Live in appartment. Easier to have these things for my needs and if your on a budget great. Happy with results. Just wanted it for underwear and socks, odd work item. Paid £22 Temu. Not quibbling over that price. Plenty of other things to save money on from there using your advice.
I'd like to see how it works out as a tent on the ground in cold weather.
works well. Think of it as a bivvy...........
Nice. Hope it works out for ya. I like everything about it, except maybe the curve. The straps going around the tree to stabilize it is a nice feature. Also, the poles that elevate the ceiling is another nice feature and enables having a rain fly instead of a tarp.
Thank you, yes I agree with your comments. I also like the fact it’s like a floating tent! With the poles holding the big net up giving you that spacious room. The straps around the tree do stabilise it but after using this hammock a few times now you should be careful it can still tip
waste of the time...
Do you need a permit or licence to kayak here?
No not on this lake :)
@@wildbadgertrek oh great thanks for your reply loved the video too, do you have a post code to get to that same spot?
Did ya make a follow up on the night cat hammock !!
I certainly did, check out ua-cam.com/video/ltMb-wD05d0/v-deo.htmlsi=jAEse2YXSKXIG3qP
Really good video - really helped, thanks (liked & subbed) Also, to me it looks like you would be able to set it up as a standard tent on the ground if there were no trees available? If so, this would really make it even more versatile and surely another great feature.
very yes you can...........v straightforward
Hi Jason, yes this can be done mate and is actually made to do it that way also
Could you tell me please, Is there a zipper on the floor between the living room and the corridor in this tent? - fully closed around, so that no insects can get inside?
This looks cool. Although i would move the toggles for the door in 3 inches. Shame that there is no zip at the foot/head end to use as storage and a second door. May be this will happen on the MKII.
Yes 100% they need moving in - that’s the most annoying part about this hammock
How much do you pump up the air tubes? I’ve done them to 4.5 and 5.5 as the manual says, but they still seem very soft. On our outwell tent the air bars are rigid when inflated?
Check your pump is giving correct readings, I would follow the manual which has been provided - I no longer have this tent mate sorry

By the time you fill up, empty, dirty water then rinse empty rinse empty, I wash by hand triple amount of what this miracle machine can... Sorry, there is therm LAzY available...
I like to watch the clothes first then drain and pour water again to rinse out the soap from the clothes. Last I use the basket.
Thank you
I paid 25 dollars for that machine. You said you paid $3.04. So, TMU ripped me.
I paid 9.99
Lovely spot, the bird sounds must have been so relaxing! I’m expecting to receive this hammock soon…I’m just wondering, did the gear storage at the bottom stay dry from the rain..? Cheers, Mari
It was great! Thank you… yes it does as the sling is covered by the fly sheet as it over hangs, creating a shelter for the sling
The instructions say not to use water that is too hot because it will damage it
Of course, you also run the risk of colours mixing if it’s to hot. I would hope people would understand water temperatures around washing, this was just an overview of the TEMU product :)
@@wildbadgertrekhi, yes you're absolutely right! I was just referring to the part in the video where you said you were putting in hot water and I knew I had just read my instructions that said not to put hot water and I just didn't want anyone to damaged their machine. Have a wonderful day!
@@daisyblue7209 of course!! I made mine warm and not hot, but you’re totally right you don’t want to ruin it by adding in hot water 😀
...Common sense would tell one to UNFOLD the towel .... Jeepers!
I thought the same. He had to have done something wrong when spinning it because most ppl are usually impressed w how well it gets the clothes almost dry.
Very slow video old style
Thank you so much for showing us how to take the basket out!!!!
Why didnt you just do the whole process over by the sink??
My shit had no buttons smh
Oh no😮
Thanks so much, I finally know how to take the basket out , I have been looking on UA-cam for a while and you came along, thanks again ✌️
Temu has awesome legit products, nothing is a scam and they actually work, have been buying stuff for the house for almost a year now and never disappointed, way cheaper then Amazon or even walmart! I use mine by the kitchen sink, got the 8L one and only paid $10(US Dollars) for mine from Temu also, mine is purple too, same brand. I live in united States. I got a drying basket with mine too, it just clicks in place to wring the clothes out. I have a washing machine in my house, but bought this to wash smaller loads, summer clothes, bras, undies and do my bf light work pants & my capri pants, helps keep down the laundry in hamper. I put mine on my kitchen counter, use my sink sprayer to fill it up. Have suction cups(you call them sticky parts :)) on the bottom of mine too :) Great to have as a back up washer and also to take on vacation for sundresses, bathing suits, socks, undies etc :) Because it's little you only need a little detergent to wash your clothes. I drain mine and then refill washer with water, put on wash for the rinse cycle so don't have to do it by hand. For the spin cycle I leave it by the sink with drain plug open so as it's spinning the water will come out the drain hole and go in sink to get the driest clothes possible. And yes, leave drain plug open with lid up after use so it can dry out properly to prevent mold.
Damn that detergent pod probably cost more than the washer.
You’re right 😂 probably did but shhhhh don’t tell the other half 😂
Great video. Looks good thinking of getting one would you recommend it
100% mate it’s a great setup
Can this be used as a regular banana hammock?
Yes it can pal
@@wildbadgertrek How? By turning them upside down like the non-flat Night Cat hammock and by removing the two poles?
@@CynicusRexI’d leave the poles in bud to keep it wide
Hey, does it come with the 2 poles to put the front porch entrance up as a shelter?
Hey, no you need to buy these separately from go outdoors :)
Hi, how many would be comfortable sleeping in it? Thanks, great video!
Comfortable fit 3 realistically
@wildbadgertrek cheers mate. Much appreciated
Ours came with instructions to install the agitator. Do we screw it in or dont bother?
Hi, where is this campsite please, what's it called? Looks great, the site, location the lot...
