5 Traits of People with Abandonment Anxiety
When little kids can't find their mom, they get anxious and cry. It’s because they can’t depend on her or feel protected. This is what we call “separation anxiety,” a common psychological term that describes the fear of being apart from someone important. Usually, this fades as children enter elementary school. However, some people still feel this fear as adults, not toward their parents but toward partners or close friends. This kind of anxiety is called "abandonment anxiety," and it’s characterized by constantly needing to feel connected to the other person, as well as a fear of being left alone or unloved.
While almost everyone experiences abandonment anxiety at some point, some people feel it more intensely. If it's too strong, it can cause problems in relationships and even lead to depression. Many times, this stems from childhood experiences like divorce or the death of a parent, where the person didn’t feel loved enough. This is sometimes referred to as "adult attachment disorder." In some cases, a traumatic breakup with a partner or close friend can also trigger these feelings.
Today, we’re going to look at five key traits that people with strong abandonment anxiety tend to show.

This isn’t an illness but rather a normal, temporary experience that everyone goes throug...

This fits me completely. I just ask God why I have to wake up each morning. I pray I will not wake up to another day. I am at the point that I push myself to take care of my cats. To jet up each day to face yet another day. No matter how much I work there is never enough money. I find myself sitting in my beloved Saturn car and staring at the clouds rolling in a blue sky. Wishing I was one of them. To everyone out there who finds no happiness you're not alone.

I remember few years back after my wife died, I was left alone with 3 kids. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with bipolar. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment changed my life for better. I can proudly say i'm totally clean for 6 years and still counting. Always look to nature for solution to tough problems, Shrooms are phenomenal.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

I'm so very happy for you mate, Psilocybin is absolutely amazing, the way it shows you things, the way it teaches you things. I can not believe our world and our people shows less interest about it's helpfulness to humanity. It's love. The mushrooms heals people by showing the truth, it would be so beneficial for so many people, especially politicians and the rich who have lost their way and every other persons out there.

''Relax. Find some joy in life'' is perhaps the worst thing you can say to a depressed person. Part of depression in any form is inability to feel joy. Depressed person is always aware of that and experiences it as a personal flaw. If someone finds this in the thick of struggle, it might just push them over the edge. Great f'ing video, like 2 pounds of candy for a diabetic.

I have all six. I'm exhausted physically, mentally and spirituality. I wake up just as tired as I was before bed. My dreams are nightmares every night. The plans of my youth are so dead I don't even remember what they were. I'm pushing 60, and I have NO idea what to do next. My kindness has been repaid with CONTEMPT all my life. I don't bother anymore. I've found it better to self isolate. Less tension, heartache, drama, etc.

Depression can be very complex, and on different levels too. Exerything said in this video is 100% accurate. Untreated depression can lead to anxiety, PTSD, low self image, and the worst is feeling suicidal. People that don't have long term depression sometimes don't truly understand what severe, long term depression is like. I hope this helps other's to understand that it's not just a bad day or something you can just snap out of, and worst of all.. some people think you're lazy/no ambition. Thank you for this very informative video. Love & Light to all! ❤ This is a great channel with all informative videos.

This is me all over and through and through.. Plus: Depression also comes from being rejected by people and ostracized, unbothered about or simply ignored. For depression comes from trying too hard too long... too many years or also decades.. And then, you know that your efforts will always be vain.. in this lifetime. It' a pattern that has become more like a fate, destiny or ..curse. Hard to discern all of it but one thing you know, no matter how hard you try, it's always dommed to follow the same fate, outcome and ending. And don't count on anyone to empathize with you, they'll judge you instead.

This was very helpful. Just having someone identify the problem of burn-out - loss of confidence - helps. I chose one self-care action, did it and feel better. People do cause us pain but usually they don't mean it and full communication may clear it up. But then, most people don't want to dig deep, or to analyze. Forgive then.
