Couldn't have asked for a better spot camping outside glacier national park. INCREDIBLE MOUNTAIN VIEWS!!! Thanks for supporting what I do. Please like, comment and subscribe if you feel l...

Wow! It has been a minute and a half since uploading a video! I've missed it so much. I've been sitting on this video since November waiting to get the film developed in order to upload but I never did! Finally I decided to upload it as is but realized it was missing something... The voice over was a total last minute decision but I think it rounds out the story perfectly. Recently the videos h...

About 6 months ago I officially moved to Montana! Here is the story behind the move. God ultimately made this decision and I owe everything to Him. I am here to do His will and I felt it was fitting to make a short film about the journey He has me and my family on. If you want to find Christ, and have a real relationship with Him and be set free from the chains that hold you, check out my podca...

No one out there but me and my truck. Slept great and enjoyed some killer food along the way! If you enjoy these type of videos, please leave a comment, like the video and consider subscribing! Solo Hiking the Hidden Lake Trail in Glacier National Park
Переглядів 7133 роки тому
Last week I hiked the hidden lake trail in Glacier National Park. Originally I had wanted to do another trail in the area but because of the wind and massive storm rolling in I decided otherwise. Obviously this is like the easiest and most popular hike in glacier but because of the weather I thought it would be cool to see it at sunset in fall, a season where many people have never seen this am...

A few weeks back we hopped in the car and took a 5 day road trip through Arizona and parts of Utah. We started in Sedona, then made our way to Monument Valley, finally ending at the grand canyon. Weather conditions were extremely unique and made for incredible photos. Sit back and enjoy the ride through the great American west. Is that shot on super 16mm?
Great motion picture , what camera 🎥 you shot on this video. ..?
so beautiful, how did you record the sound without getting the camera noise?

Сделано превосходно! Отличный фильм
I love ektachrome especially on greens it always gets the best greens out of any filmstock, colors pop and are really vibrant and nice. I also love neon on signs or colors on signs on ektachrome they pop out and jump out at you.
Absolutely incredible. What did you use for light metering?
Thank you!! Sekonic L-308x!
@@taylorwerfelmann nice! That’s what I have too. Any tips for metering / lighting for my first roll of film through my new h16? Do you just set the iso to match the films and meter normally like for 35mm?
@@HunterSkowronPDXsweet! Ya I do. I basically try to meter for the mid tones if that helps. That light meter especially can be tough to use because it’s not a spot meter. I take a lot of time and care to find the mid-tone and meter for that. Or try metering different light in the scene and then shoot it somewhere in the middle depending on what you’re looking for. I’m always overexposing when in doubt. Easier to save in post.
where was the camp spot filmed at ? Lovely spot there.
glad to see the glock lol
窒息一样的美,美哭了,呜呜呜
This is so awesome.
YO! Awesome video, I loved this. Looking at snagging an AE-1 now. Quick question, which film were you using and what would you recommend for it?
Wow che bello 👏
Stunning. A dream. How much did it cost to buy the film and develop it?
I think it was around $800 but I can’t fully remember
damn this feels so nostalgic
the colours are absolutely stunning
Thank you!!
Why is the footage so shaky? Did you add it in post? Great video anyways.
Lol it’s handheld
super 16 ? thanks, beautiful
Yes!
i love colters msuic
Same
Why such videos have low views? I don't get it. You deserve more❤
Because most people don’t like what’s real. This is how living should look like and I hope it feels as it looks because it looks awesome , tender slow pace of living is what people need but this fast paced get sucked out and die way of living
How are you people so talented ❤❤
Haha thank you!
this is just beautiful!
Digital will NEVER look this good.
Beautiful footage, did you use noise reduction? The grain is so fine.
Thank you! No I did not actually.
I am 1000 yards from border @ Roosville....Wildlife galore ...
Your videos are so charming and beautifully made!
Thanks Alexandra!
Beautiful as always. What camera are you rocking with these days
Thank you Nita! Fuji xt4 still!! My ride or die camera 😤
Finally, a friggin post!!!! montana in the spring/summer is definetly a vibe
Haha! I died for a second. Foreal it is!!
Just wow. What do you use to color grade?
Thanks Kami! I used premiere and my good friends “wedding lut” that he sells on his site called lutcompany.com highlyyy recommend it. I use the lut as a base for every project.
Dude I just found your channel. Your content is really sick. I clicked on your 16mm video because I’m waiting for an Ultra 16mm K3 that I ordered to come in. Your shots of Grand Teton are insane. I would love to head out there and film some shots/go camping one of these days. You’re basically doing what I do in Red Dead 2 but in real life haha. Keep it up. I’ll be watching.
Dude thanks soo much, means alot! I’m also waiting on a K3 haha mine just shipped. Dude you have to make it out west!! It’s insane. Every frame is a painting here.
So good nman
Thanks Ryan!!
This is so well done! The visuals are incredible and the atmosphere you created with the sound design is so immersive
Thank you Matt!! Hoping to make another film like this one soon!
shame about the light leak
I kinda like it 🤷🏼♂️
WOW. I'm from New Zealand and I'm heading over to the west of the US to travel next year. This film makes me sooo excited you have no idea
Heck ya!! Glad it made you excited! Enjoy your travels!
waw
What's the name of the music I love it
Great shots and sound. Great feel. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!!
What type of camera? Absolutely beautiful
Bolex h16. Thanks!!
What kind of lenses did you use?
Some of these shots are utterly breathtaking! They feel unreal almost like you’re looking at a painting.
Wow, thank you!
what is song?
cool
Awesome. FILM ROCKS!
YES! Agreed.
There really is some indefinable quality of grain and light to film that makes my heart ache. It is almost like looking at the world I grew up in transplanted into an alternate present where history went differently and film remained a high art and a ghostly record of a very different and more human place.
I feel that. Film to me will always have a transporting quality, where as digital feels too close to reality. Not to mention that film will always capture colors more accurately because of it being a chemical process so there’s something to True tones instead of manufactured ones. Just my thoughts. It’s definitely my favorite art medium.
