uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh #CheapPCChallenge2024 and stuff. i'm at least halfway there to burnout and i didn't realize that the cheap PC challenge deadline was in less than a week so I slammed together a pile of stuff I bought recently from my university's surplus store with an Ebay motherboard.

Mojang/Microsoft has been saying that 32 bit systems are no longer supported. Hold my Core Duo. Just a pit-stop on the way to 32-bit minecraft madness. I don't think the MiniStore 170 likes working in LBA. It's natively 85MB in size (170MB is just the maximum theoretical compressed capacity when using Stacker) but reads as 2TB in Windows. Sometime later I'll try hooking it up to a real IDE interface that supports CHS addressing and see how it does.

Do you enter the factory defects, or do you allow the LLF utility to detect and mark factory defects during the three deep verification passes?
@@Michael.Chapman I let the LLF utility detect them. On drives this old, it's very much possible that the defect list is no longer accurate.

Hi, can you please tell me what PC specs you use to run server? Also, KernelEx for W98 is in use? I'm trying to recreate this using NEC D5126 drive😅
I was using an industrial Pentium 4 system with ISA slots (DFI G4V620-N) for the server system. This allowed me to use a WD1003-WA2 16-bit MFM controller card. KernelEX was used on Windows 98.
